Packing Yankee Candles for trip on plane,SWA

I was just wondering if I should pack my Yankee Candles (3 large jars as gifts) in my carry-on luggage or should they be put in my checked luggage. I figured I'd keep them with me in my carry-on, but I don't know what the Airlines (SWA) would say. Any ideas / Thanks

it up to tsa not swa what goes in your bag put them in your checked bag to be sure it depends what the candles are made of. unless you want toi give tsa a present put them in your checked bag to be sure. if they are gel candles then put them in your checked bag.

If they are normal wax candles, wont be an issue. If they 'jiggle' or are liquid style candles, wont be allowed. And if they are those types, be careful packing them in carry on also. If they break or open, you have the possibility of making a mess not only in your luggage, but if they would leak, others also..

Thanks for the replies...they are regular wax candles, not the gel type. I guess I'll pack them carefully and put them in my checked bag .

Are they the large jar?? I don't think I would pack the large jars. I would wrap them in bubble wrap, loosely and carry on.

Did you try ordering off their website and shipping directly to the people you are bringing the gifts for?? Looks like the website has buy one get one 50% off on fall scents (I love Harvest).

Please for the love of allergies, please wrap them in many layers of plastic so their incredibly strong smell doesn't kick off a flight-long sneezing fit.

I have ONE votive-style YC candle, I've never taken the plastic off of it, and I can smell it from rooms away...those things are STRONG. If it were anything but vanilla, I couldn't have it, unless I wanted to be sneezing literally all day long!

So wrap it wrap it and wrap them some more. Please.
