So that packing list just sent me into a full blown panic attack. Thanks. lol. :thumbsup2

Lol i just picked it apart last night taking from it adding to it but it was an awesome and intimidating place to start!

For breakfast for my kids we bought those gerber cereal bars, fruit cups, gerber sells yogurt that doesn't need to be refrigerated. Also fruit squeeze pouches are great for snacks and breakfasts.

So that packing list just sent me into a full blown panic attack. Thanks. lol. :thumbsup2

Me too! I leave in 12 days and actually thought I had things under control until I read that! :rotfl2:

OP, I loved those disposable and sticky backed placemats and flushable toilet seat covers when YDS was a toddler/potty training. Have fun!

September is very hot and humid. I find I go through waaaay more clothes during that time of year, since I get so sweaty. Since you have a toddler, an afternoon break at the hotel is a great chance to take a break and also do some laundry. Because you can do multiple loads at once, it doesn't take a huge amount of time.

To make laundry easier and less expensive you can use Shout Color Catchers. You can throw colors and darks in the same load and the Color Catchers keep the colors from getting on other clothes. :thumbsup2

An extra poncho or shower curtain to cover the stroller if it rains. Also something colorful to make your stroller stand out in the sea of strollers.

As someone who does carry on only, my jaw hit the floor when I read it.:rotfl::rotfl: We like staying at Bonnet Creek, so will have a washer/dryer in the condo with laundry detergent provided, which means we carry half as many clothes as days we'll be there. I pack neutral colored shorts that will match any blouse I carry, so I can mix and match. Most of the stuff on that list is stuff we wouldn't even use. No thanks! We love doing carry on only and can be packed and ready to go in less than 30 minutes. We've never needed anything we didn't have either.

Of course, we are one of those people, who goes bagless in the parks too. If it doesn't fit in our pockets, it doesn't go.:rotfl::rolleyes1 My husband and I took our then 3 y/o grandson down there a couple of years ago and still had no problem going bagless in the parks. We have never had understood why people carry those huge backpacks around all day.:confused3:rotfl: We love packing light.

I'll be at Bonnet Creek for eight nights/nine days Sept 14th-22nd and will be using just a carry on and a Vera Bradley Weekender or Vera Bradley small duffel as a personal item. I'll be wearing a pair of cargo shorts, a top, and a pair of flip flops on the plane. I'll be packing four more cargo shorts, four tops, one or two sundresses (haven't decided yet on the number of semi nicer restaurants I might dine at), four panties, four bras, one nightie, another pair of flip flops, one swim skirt with two different (but matching) tankini tops (so two swimsuits taking up the space of 1 1/2), a Vera Bradley sarong (that I can use for a swimsuit coverup, a shawl, or an extra dress), a Vera Bradley ditty bag (going to use it by the pool and also to carry my nightie, a few toiletries, and an outfit over to Universal for my overnight stay over at Royal Pacific Thursday 9/19), two pairs of sunglasses, a pair of foldup reading glasses, two Vera Bradley weekly reminder pill boxes (one for routine meds and one for over the counter meds I might need), a Vera Bradley zip ID and lanyard (for ID, CCs, insurance cards, APs, room key, cash, etc), a Vera Bradley envelope for paperwork, a mini M&M container full of quarters for tolls, a white noise machine, my Kindle, MP3 player, cell phone, a small 12" lap top with small router, my GPS and GPS holder, a Vera Bradely makeup bag to hold all the chargers (the Kindle charger will work on the Kindle, cell phone, and GPS though, so only one charger needed for all three of those), a bag of milk/bath salts for the room jacuzzi, a small hanging Vera Bradley toiletry bag, a 3-1-1 bag, and because they won't count again the allowed liguids, another quart bag with a travel size bottle of contact lens solution, an extra pair of contacts, and a Victoza pen for my diabetes. The small VB toiletry bag will have a folding travel toothbrush, small brush & comb, a small Body Glide, deodorant, travel size Gold Bond powder, Salonpas pain patches, a zip lock baggie of facial cleasing wipes, mini travel tweezers, razor, a small foot pumice stone, a small spf lip balm, several tiny travel makeup brushes, and five tiny 3 gram jars that screw together to make a 1/2" x 3" column that will hold mineral foundation, blush, two eyeshadows, and finishing powder. The 3-1-1 bag will hold a travel tooth paste, small travel size bottles of my favorite shampoo, conditioner, hair gel, a travel size mousse, two tiny tubes of lip gloss, mini mascara, a small bottle of cleansing oil, a small tube of gritty, peppermint foot scrub, and three 5 gram jars that screw together that hold facial moisturizer, eye cream, and night cream. All of that will easily fit in a carryon and personal item, with space left over.

My cargo shorts will be neutral colors of white, black, tan, brown, and a thin stone washed denim and every blouse I pack will match any pair of shorts. The flip flops will be metallic silver and metallic gold OluKai Ohanas, so they will match everything and still be comfortable to wear all day, yet still nice enough to wear with a sundress. I'll pick up some sunscreen down there when I make a grocery run for the condo. With the exception of sun screen, I never have any problem packing all I need in a carryon and a personal item (at least as long as the weather is going to be warm). lol

Good idea! I may need to throw a few of these into a zip lock bag. They wouldn't take up much room.

Swimmy diapers
Extra batteries
Waterproof disposable camera
Pennies/quarters for the pressed penny machines (my boys are obsessed)

Breakfast.... Buy those individual cereal bowls that just need milk
Granola bars, then bring fruit from your lunches back to the room for breakfast

Gd plan bringing stuff back especially since we have fd, cereal boxes are officially on the list!

My one must-have is BODY GLIDE. (you can buy it at most sports stores or at Amazon) This stuff is great for any place on your body that has friction issues. I put it all over my feet and very rarely have problems with blisters. (I used to always have huge blister problems. Burned thru tons of mole skin during every trip.) I know people who put it on their inner thighs or under their bra straps-- wherever you get rubbed the wrong way.

This stuff isn't cheap, but we bought a 8-oz stick and have used it for at least 7 years now. It lasts forever. And it works so great that I would pay 3 times the price gladly.

I was just there this past week--- and it is still VERY HOT. I would recommend shorts and comfortable shoes of course. On Saturday, it was so hot we had to leave Epcot early :(

It's VERY rainy in the afternoons, but very hot in the mornings. Today was really humid, and I had to leave AK early because the humidity was driving me mental- I live in England so I'm not used to this weather. Apart from the rain, of course ;)

Make sure you have a lot of light clothing, and be sure to bring enough spare socks for when they are wet. I got back from Epcot last night with soaking wet trainers and socks.

We go every September and it is very hot.. I always bring extra clothes for everyone if you do not want to do laundry.. Rain ponchos... Water bottles... Snacks for the kids, horizons milk and cereal for the room, hats, lots of sunscreen,y son loves his travel water bottle/ fan... Brita water filter if you do not like the taste of Florida water.. Lots of wipes/ antibacterial wipes, pull-ups, night light, travel fan for white noise or some sort of white noise machine if needed :) and ear plugs for me!

These are great tips keep em coming lol. I have started 2 gather stuff and hit the stores! I'm going to begin actually packing next wk....so excited!

We leave on the 25 th so I was packing as I was responding to this :) have fun!!

There is another feed on here that discusses odd things to bring. On that stuck out to me was a toaster. Hot plates are not allowed in the rooms, but according to the Disney Mom's Panel a toaster is ok. Might make for more breakfast options, if you have space in your suit case. Also I'm a big coffee drinker, and what they pass off for in room coffee is barely dirty water. I've been bringing my own bag for years! Hope you enjoy our Florida fall; we're diving up from Miami next September for a family reunion.

Were driving up from ft lauderdale! I'm totally bringing a toaster we have the dp so I'm tryna make sure we eat as much breakfast in the room as possible
