So I have not been sharing much lately. so I thought I would jump right in here. I have been making some jean outfits for our trip in october, but Most are saying it will still be warm in the day. so I made a little minnie skirt outfit. I love how this turned out...

James came home early today from work and I got a shirt done for a little girl that I drew her name for a Christmas in July thing we are doing on another board. It is one of the things I am sending to her because she likes Tink. My only thing is I just realized that I did not add eyebrows or eyelashes (what lack of sleep will do to you lol). Do you think I need to go back and do so? I HAVE to get it in the mail tomorrow. I completely forgot about needing to do something for her because of Little D coming.

She really does have a nose too I just did it in pink lol.

Far from perfect but honestly I think it could have been a lot worse lol.

Didn't even notice anything was missing! She will love it.

Had to come and celebrate! I just sold my first customs. I guess that is enough excitement. I really want this to work. I see some of you are in the fairy godmothers group, I wanted to wish you all luck! That is a cute idea. I would love to become a member of a group like thta but I guess I need to sell more before I can try to get into one. As for now, I am just happy that this is taking off!

WooHoo! I finally finished my scrapbook from our trip. I am not happy with all of the pages, but now I can finally get back to sewing!! Or at least until I need to start working on the 2008 in review books I need to finish for Christmas- still have plenty of time, right?

Skinny people irritate me! Especially when they say things like...'You know sometimes I forget to eat!' .....Now I've forgotten my address, my mother's maiden name and my keys, but I have never forgotten to eat. You have to be a special kind of stupid to forget to eat!

The trouble with some women is that they get all excited about nothing and then they marry him.

I read this article that said the typical symptoms of stress are eating too much, impulse buying, and driving too fast. Are they kidding? That's my idea of a perfect day!

I SO understand what you're saying. I never found a nursing bra that fit me. I also look pregant in flowy shirts (and in snug shirts,and in looser shirts, but that's beside the point). After I saw a picture of me in the shirt I was wearing the day I met Steph, I was mortified! I'm sure she thought I was pregnant!

I can't remember what you were wearing but I most assuredly did not think you looked pregnant. I remember at one point you looked gorgeous in a gorgeous bathroom though!

I have a top like that too and it looks awful on me because I have nothing to hold it up. Maybe I should put a few rows on shirring instead of tossing it on the Goodwill pile? You guys are so helpful!

Thanks so much guys. I am always worried that the pages are too busy or not busy enough. I overthink too much. I use Photoshop elements and have my books printed at shutterfly. I have had other project printed at other places (walmart, winkflash, etc) and never been as happy with them as I am with my shutterfly stuff, even though it is slightly more expensive.

Stacy (sohappy)...did you start your TR? What's the link?

Been busy working again. Worked from 10-5 opening more boxes than I need to count at the Disney Store. Great stuff coming out. Too bad I sew now, becuase the fall line of clothing is very pretty!

HeatherSue: I was wearing a really cute flwy dress the other day from Disney Store and a dd of a friend asked why I had a big belly...was I going to have a baby? I about died! Thak goodness she was only 4!

I would love to meet up with everyone on Jan/Feb but I don't think it is going to happen. Dh likes to do things as a family, and if we all go it will be all of us together all the time. I like that the likes being with family, but sometimes I would love to have some ME time!

Well, going to Wallyworld to pick up colored pencils and some other stuff. Then, taking dd's bowling for the first time! They are all very xcited! Have fun sewing and see ya'll later!

MAW Big Give (2) - Project GoofyDoo UPDATE:

DISMEET IDEA

I would like to have 2 meets.

Here's my idea- we could meet earlier in the day at a park at one of the resorts. Someone else would probably have a better idea of which resort has the best non-swimming play area. The kids could play while we talked and mingled. We would bring our whole family (spouses, kids, mom in my case).

Then, we could meet again in the evening for one of the cruises Karen is talking about. I know nothing about the cruises, so someone will have to fill me in on how many people can go, how much it costs, etc...

I'm thinking the 2nd meet can be just us girls. But, we would welcome kids and spouses if people want to bring them.

What do you all think?

They are fantastic...are you happy with Photoshop Elements??? I'm a little nervous about investing in it.

I really love it. I think that there is a site where you can get it for $70 if you don't mind waiting for them to send you the CD. I am impatient and just downloaded it from Adobe for $99. I really, really love it though. I wish that I hadn't given away my "learn to use elements" book. I would have given it to you!

OK, I am going to put this out there- I applied for a new job within my company. If I get the job, it will be $350 more a month plus a bonus at the end of the year (7-10% of my salary) in addition to the normal 2 weeks pay bonus. If I get the job, I am totally going in Feb. With or without kids is still a question though.

WOW Stacy good luck w/ your promotion. That's very exciting. I hope you can make it out in Feb.

As for GTG's... I am really game for anything. I don't know that any of the resorts have a really great non pool play area. Most have play areas by the pool but they aren't very big. I say let's see what Karen finds out about a Magical Gathering. It's far away and we have time to look into it. We could take the kids to the petting zoo at FW. OR to one of the miniature golf courses, they are pretty inexpensive.
