Package vs booking separate

Hi. Our family would like to do the Land/Sea package at WDW. My question is, the package runs from Sunday to Sunday. We will be arriving at Florida on Saturday. So we would need an extra night to stay Saturday night. Would you just tack it on with your land part (add another night to the disney hotel) or stay somewhere else. Also with the land part, 4 days of park passes is included with your price. I know we are only going to be doing 3 as we want to go to Sea World one day. So what would you do with the 4th days ticket??? Would it be wiser to book everything separate to customize our needs or book a package? Which do you think would save you more money? Also, do you guys book with a local TA or online or right through disney for a great rate!! Thanks for all of your help! I have learned alot on these boards

Personnally I'd price it separately with your specific needs and see if you save any money over the package and then I would decide.

We did the 7 day land and sea package last May. When we originally booked it we did it as the 3 night park and 4 night cruise. After the fact we decided to add another park day/hang by the pool day. We did our land portion first. We called our travel agent and booked another day at the hotel we were already gonna be at w/ the package.
We arrived on a Weds. morning and had 4 nights in the Poly, then Sunday morning we got up and headed to the Port for our cruise portion, that went from Sunday -Thurs, we flew home Thursday afternoon.

We would do it this way again!!! Worked well for us!
