Package ticket question.....

Ok , so here is a question I have never had reason to ask, until now.

F I have a packge that I check in on Wednesday, and it lasts till Sunday, and I get a 6 day park ticket , can I start using my tickets before I check in? Say the Monday before?

I am tryin a split stay....

I want a room only reservation Monday and Tuesday, then buy all my tickets on my next reservation from wed till sunday.
Why? Its much cheaper to buy a 6 day ticket that a 4 day and a 2 day ticket.

It would be to your advantage to make the Stay #1 a package and add the 6 day ticket to it.

By having the package as Stay #2, you'll need to activate your tickets when you arrive for Stay #1 and only then can you book FPs for those first 2 days of park visits.

Yep! If both stays are at the same resort, the concierge may be able to activate your tickets for you. If not, you can visit guest services at any of the 4 main parks or Disney Springs to have them activated. You will not be able to book FPs in advance for the non package days, but as soon as you get the tickets activated, you can book them. Also, your 60 day window will open 60 days before your room only stay, but only the package dates will be selectable.

So I would have to add to the GF FD package to save money.....

1. So I could only activate the tix in park?
2. No FP for first two days till I am there ? That could be sticky no?
3. Adr's??? When can I make those on this crazy plan?

1. Yes, at Guest Relations
2. Correct ~ no FPs
3. 180 days out for Stay #1 (11/14 & 15); 180 days out for Stay #2 (11/16-11/20)

This is sorta strange too.....

180+10 for each stay? I would assume that means I can only book for 2 days for the first stay and they 4 days for the second?

Or can I book 180+ then off the first ressie, even though I am not staying at that reservation for the whole time?

Correct. ADR booking is based on length of stay per each onsite room reservation.

Current status of the family is "healthyish". I'm finally healthy, but DD is nursing her 3rd ankle sprain of the school year. She may get a bubble suit for her birthday. Or an iron man suit. Lol! Good luck with the Poly!!!
