Package handling charge at Disney resorts?

I've read in a couple of places that Disney resorts charge to handle a package that you ship to yourself? $15!!!??

If you've shipped something ahead what's been your experience? We're staying at Pop Century for three nights and moving to AKL for five more. Anyone shipped packages to either resort?

usally it is the convention hotels at WDW that do that. Most of the other ones don't. but just because I said that they will change it.

I was charged around $19.00 for package handling at CSR, but as teh previous post said- Convention hotel. I have not been charged anywhere else- CBR, WL, and hopefully not Pop in April.

What was really crappy, I called and asked at CSR, before I mailed the package, and was told NO CHARGES, and then was again not told anything about it when I checked in, or when the package was delivered. It wasn't till I checked out, that I found out about the charge. DH, said maybe I did not tip the bellman enough? I gave him $3.00 for 1 box.????

Last year we sent a box to All Star Music. We called and asked if they got it. They said yes. When we got there we asked for the box they said they didnt get it. Finally about 10 minutes later ( seemed like hours) they called our room to tell us the box was on its way to our room! We were really relieved! We had a lot of important stuff in that box. Anywas no charge!
