Hi everyone! I'm new to the DL side, as last year I spent countless hours on the WDW side researching for our DS4's first WDW trip. I had such a blast researching--I got to be a Disboard junkie. Our trip was the trip of a lifetime--it was wonderful! We splurged and stayed at the Poly and went to character meals and did the Family Magic Tour and .... (it was just a wonderful trip!) We thought we were thru w/Disney for awhile until my son got a little older (can't afford yearly trips), but I'm missing the planning so much that I started lurking on the boards again (hope others can understand what I'm talking about!) There is no other vacation that seems to be as much fun to plan/research as a Disney vacation! We're going on a cruise this fall, but the planning for that just doesn't float my boat
like a Disney vacation. So, I started thinking
"How about going to DisneyLand next year?" My husband will need some definite persuading, as we'll have to drive (try to save some money) and he really didn't want to do Disney again so quickly.
So, I've read every post on this DL side (how come the DL side is so much smaller--is it newer?, and how come noone posts DL trip reports--I really love reading them!). I'm thinking I would like to try for the DisneyLand Hotel, and I was wondering if they offer the same service as WDW, where they will deliver your purchases at the parks to your room for you? (I know, I know, I said alot to get to this question, but as I previously stated, I'm so Disney-planning hungry right now I just couldn't refrain myself
!) I hope I will not be kicked off this board for being too long-winded, and I look forward to getting to know everyone on this side of the board!
Kimberly
