Hi all......our place is always in clutter mode....we are not cpmpulsive neat-nicks at all....but I do tend to go nuts when things are so chaotic that I don't even know where to begin organizing.
DH says I need to purge all this stuff that is years old...but I am always afraid that as soon as I do we'll both be out of work again or be really broke and can't afford little things we like. Here's an example: I have a scented lotion that I like but use only rarely and it is 4 years old...but it is crammed in the vanity drawer with 4 others
I know if we hit hard times I certainly won't be buying an item like that, so I keep it because "what if?"....but is that good planning or being a pack-rat? Now multiply that example by closets and drawers....you get the idea.
Anyone else this way?

Get rid of things you don't want, isn't safe, or don't need. Worry about the other stuff afterwards.
