Hi all......our place is always in clutter mode....we are not cpmpulsive neat-nicks at all....but I do tend to go nuts when things are so chaotic that I don't even know where to begin organizing.
DH says I need to purge all this stuff that is years old...but I am always afraid that as soon as I do we'll both be out of work again or be really broke and can't afford little things we like. Here's an example: I have a scented lotion that I like but use only rarely and it is 4 years old...but it is crammed in the vanity drawer with 4 others:rolleyes: I know if we hit hard times I certainly won't be buying an item like that, so I keep it because "what if?"....but is that good planning or being a pack-rat? Now multiply that example by closets and drawers....you get the idea.
Anyone else this way?

Planner sounds great - but sugar, you are a big old pack rat!!:)

But - I am a pack rat as well. Oh yes, I will lose all that weight and wear those size 6 clothes again...... uh huh, uh huh!;)

We've been doing a slow weeding out process.

Personally, I'd be afraid of 4 year old lotion. :teeth: Get rid of things you don't want, isn't safe, or don't need. Worry about the other stuff afterwards.

I've slowly been getting rid of things I don't need too.
