P&P Party tickets

Again, thank you Stitchfans for checking regularly and letting us know what's going on. I look every morning for your posts, even though I don't always reply.

It's very appreciated. :flower3:

Another non-poster but daily subscriber. Thanks to you from me too!! You have saved me a fortune in international phone calls, I'm half hoping that Disney won't launch the Pirate and Princess Party tickets until the exchange rate improves but that would probably mean no party until about July 2015 so.................

When I called last night to book a tour the cm told me to call in two days about the p&p party, so maybe tomorrow or Monday. Wishful thinking?

Still a 7:00pm park close time on my date of Feb. 20th, but P&PP no longer listed on special events page at Disney site. This is so frustrating!

:sad2: Sunday 11-16. this CM was very nice. She actually chatted with me and seemed to not want to get off the phone. She said that the CMs are actually starting to wonder what is going on. I told her I have been calling since the 7th and that I wanted to make sure I didn't miss it and not get our tickets. She told me that couldn't happen cause they don't sell out.

My concern though is as said earlier if there are less than normal parties maybe they will. Well it is still a wait and see. Will try again tomorrow before I go to work.

Stichfans-
I'm just curious... do you ever get the same CM when you call? It seems like you call a lot and although there must be tons of CM answering the phones, chances are you'll eventually get one you've talked to before. Have you ever asked to speak to a particularly helpful CM? Do they transfer you to a requested CM?

To my surprise I only got one woman twice. All the other times it was a different person. Wouldn't mind dealing with the one I talked to today again. But no, I have never requested a particular one. I suppose if you did and if the person was working at that time, plus wasn't busy I suppose you could talk to them.

I only just found this thread and it is so helpful. Thanks to everyone who are checking daily. I am going to sub and keep checking back as we want to go on Feb 20th. I really hope this is going to happen soon :)

I know you were addressing Stitchfans, but I wanted to chime in. I have spoken to the same CMs several times. Julio, Winston, Singleton, Pauline Marie, Jean-Marie and Hamill, I have spoken to all more than once. Julio and Hamill were very nice and I would be happy to get either one of them each time I call. I am hoping to never get Winston again!

As to the MPPP tickets, I have had almost each CM when I call tell me that the tickets were supposed to be loaded into their system, but it happened the same time as the promo and Disney execs decided to not do the load. I have had several others tell me that they are now hearing there will be no MPPPs. I don't think anybody knows for sure except for the decision makers, but I will be sure to stay positive about it.

None of them told me there wouldn't be any. I sure hope that is wrong. That would be a major let down. Especially after calling every day since the 7th. I mean come on I have called 9 days in a row. :headache:

I hope they changed thier minds BUT I heard from a very reliable CM last July they were considering not doing MPPP this year. They were looking into doing something else if anything. now with attendance being down and them offering all these other specials to get people into the park maybe they thought people would not have the $$ for special events.

Again, I sure hope this is wrong. Won't be very happy after calling all that time being a big waste of time.

Usually, front-line Cast Members are the last to know when it comes to Resort decision making.

You could make a pretty good case for why MPPP would get cancelled this year. You could also make a fair case for keeping it. We won't know until we know.
