Ozark season 4

Yes! I binge watched the series when COVID started. I am not sure how I will handle having to wait a week in between episodes. I don't want to wait and binge watch because of spoilers.

When will it be coming out?
Sometime in 2022. The trailer looks to me like it begins right where season 3 ended.
With all the crazy my favorite thing about this show is how Wendy and Marty always stick together in the end even when one or the other totally jacks things up.

I have to get back to it, never watched season 3.

Also "You" is suppose to be coming out with a new season Oct. 15th I think. I know people here liked that one.

I'm SO looking forward to more Ozark! I thought that it was finished, too.

Also looking forward to the next season of You, @mrodgers.

If you're looking for something else, watch Squid Game on Netflix. It's like the Hunger Games meets a crazier game. DD and I watched it over 2 nights.

I've got to get some of my work out of the way before this comes out. I'm not going to want to get anything done for a couple days once it does.

I really like that all the characters around Marty are sleepers. Jason Bateman could easily be a jerk and let his ego about being a leading man ruin it but he is generous and lets everyone shine and this totally evelates Marty's stoic march as a leader. They do an excellent job with showcasing all the complex female characters like Wendy.

We watch it, but I don’t love it.

It took me a while to get into it. At first I was like, "What the heck is WRONG with these people they just keep making really BAD decisions!" Then I warmed up to them. LOL!!

After SOA I really couldn’t get into shows like this (I always say SOA broke TV for me) but I love Justin Bateman so I gave it a shot. Like you said, the whole cast shines. You can’t help but root for them no matter how messed up the situation is.

Totally agree! SOA & Breaking Bad were amazing & similarly adept in getting the audience emotionally twisted up with a character, then building loyalty and THEN using that tie to very slowly drag the audience into a place that is morally upended like The Picture of Dorian Gray. The art of it is the characters need to have a certain tipping point of charisma, if the character/actor/actress is unlikable or flat the audience backs out & the construct just falls apart. The writers need some serious skill.

Yes! I had to go look it up after seeing this. Can't wait! We just finished season 3 of You and I'm rewatching Dead to Me with DH because he hadn't seen it yet.
