97% Jewish population in town... heard all the time.

The other day I told my students to sit on their tukkcus (spelling?) . The looked at me like I had three heads... then I explained it to them and then they understood.

Oy, I was the only gentile in my class from kindergarten till high school. They nicknamed me Robinowitz so I could take the Jewish holidays off with them. Oy VEY and oy gevalt!!!

Yes. It's a very common expression but I'm from NY.

LOL. I'm African american and heard it just as much in Harlem as I did any where else.
