I find it so interesting that SW flights have actually shot up significantly (at least for our FL trip) since the change of policies was implemented. I thought for sure they would go down to entice people to still buy after the changes, but quite the opposite! Maybe they need to make up for the people looking for other options such as myself!Right now, our only locker contains a lot of what has already been mentioned: OTC medicines, first aid items, toiletries, hair straightener, ponchos, umbrellas, collapsible hamper, scissors, big kitchen knife, etc.
We always flew SW because of the no-change fees and free luggage, but now that those policies are changing, we will be shopping around. Since we will be having to pay for luggage now, we are considering getting another OL so that we can leave our "Disney-only" clothes, heavy sweatshirts/Christmas clothes, back-up shoes, and my heavy blanket (we travel in May, August, and December and DH likes the room way colder than I do) in Orlando.
Besides having to lug less luggage around the airports, the other big plus for having an OL is the much shorter amount of time it takes to pack now. I love that I don't have to worry about all that piddly bathroom/kitchen stuff and can mostly just pack clothes and other essentials.
Their big sale is usually the first week of June so I will keep my eye out for any price adjustments. I dont think they've changed that policy but I wouldnt be surprised if they did! They really went from 0 to 60!
