The main things are:
- A slim britta filter (I'd rather not use Orlando Water to make coffee.)
- A non-stick pan that is not scratched to h-e-double-toothpicks.
- A set of packable, microfiber beach towels (mostly for water parks)
- Sunscreen (being mindful of expiration dates)
- OTC medication (ditto)
- Random toiletries that I don't want to put in a 3-1-1 bag.
I live in a Delta hub and have status with them, so for me it is not about avoiding bags or saving money. It's about having a little extra convenience---which was the whole point of timeshares for us in the first place.
As for cooking in the units: Mostly what i do is assembly. When the kids were younger, breakfast was a bit more involved--scrambled eggs, tosater waffles, canadian bacon--but those days are behind me. In fact, I probably haven't used the pan in years now.
