Owner referral question

I was just wondering what info you need to have for the owner referral discount? I know we'd need a name, but what other info will Disney need - member number, address, phone number, how we met, years we've known one another, etc...?

Anyone out there who has received the discount able to shed some light on this for us?

When I purchased in Aug. I just gave the name of the person and where they lived. MS looked it up in their system.

All they need to know is the name of a member and where they are from. I just gave them a name tonight.

Yep, I just used a name too. They asked me what state, because there were several people with this name, and I didn't even know! But only one of the people was a member, so I said that must be her. They gave me no problem whatsoever. I just said she was an on line friend.
