I have searched the threads and DVC web page but haven't been able to find the owner benefits. For example do you get a discount on park passes or annual passes (DL and WDW), dining discounts, dining plan discounts, airline discounts, transportation discounts, rental car discounts, DCL excursion discounts, DCL discounts, early park admission, special owner days, owner lounges, etc. Any insight provided is appreciated.

perks can come and go. i wouldn't get that hung up on the perks.

currently, DVC members get wdw AP discounts, random dining discounts (typically for less popular restaurants and sometimes only for lunch), random shopping discounts and access to the "top of the world" lounge and viewing area at the BLT (mostly, this has been only for BLT guests and not DVC owners in general). i think there are some tour discounts as well. DVC owners also have limited pool hopping options.

no discounts on other park passes, no discount on the DDP (although DVCers typically avoid any holiday surcharges), no airline/transportation discounts.

any early park admissions or free parking would be based on staying onsite and have nothing to do with DVC ownership apart from an onsite stay.

DVC is a timeshare, not a discount club. The benefit is in the reduced lodging costs. Some other divisions of Disney and some outside companies will occasionally offer us discounts, but it's at their whim. The only really substantial current discount is on annual passes, but that could disappear at any time.

There are no special owner days, no owner lounges, no special treatment for owners. It's really just a different way of paying for your lodging.

From the member website:

Disney Vacation Club Members and their immediate family (living in the same household) are eligible to receive a $20 discount on new Disneyland Resort Deluxe and Premium Annual Passports.
