Owen's Wish DISNEYWORLD 2011!!

Today was the last full day of school this week! That means no homework and no afterschool activities today. What a great time to get a big package in the mail!! This MICKEY MAIL comes from disname: crissyjb and the kids were SO excited!!

There was a Lightening McQueen card that Owen loved so much I couldn't take a picture other than a giant blur. Who knew a card could be so cool?!
Both kids got the cutest embroidered pillowcases and backpacks! Tink for Kamryn, and Cars for Owen. The backpacks fit perfect and Owen looked like such a big guy with his own backpack on!

That's not all... the backpacks were full of Pixie Dust!! TONS of goodies for each kid!!

Chris.. the kids are so in love with it all!! Kamryn is requesting a manicure with the french manicure set you sent. Owen is in love with the Cars PEZ dispenser. In the last five minutes, Kamryn has read the Spiderman book to Owen at least 4 times!

You picked out the perfect fabric, goodies, and the backpacks were a major hit!!! Thank you so much!!!

Glad to hear that she did well in school. We have a day off this week and then another off next week. Then for the next TWO weeks, they have two half days each week. I'm never going to get anything done with all that time out of school. Plus, the next two weeks will be loaded with homework for my two kiddos so they won't really get to enjoy the time off.

Today we received THREE packages of MICKEY MAIL!! The kids were squealing with delight and so excited to break into the packages. I love making them wait and having them pick up first. It's great how quick they do their chores when there are packages waiting.

Nevermind the kids' wild hair.. it was crazy hat day at school!

The first package they opened was from Canada..disname: tricia.. real name Tricia.

My neice was over so she read the letter and my kiddos were already trying on their new clothes! They got the cutest Toy Story clothes!! We are totally looking forward to Hollywood Studios and have a full day planned there. Now the kids have the perfect wardrobe to wear to the park!

Kamryn got an Alien dress, which fits her so well! She loves it so much!

Owen got a Buzz shirt with matching alien shorts, the same alien fabric used on Kamryn's dress. I love when they coordinate!

The next BIG GIVE came from Ellen.. disname: ellenbenny. I have seen your stuff in previous big gives and LOVE it all!! As you can see, the kids are still modeling their Toy Story gear.

Each kiddo had a wrapped package. Gigi got in on the action and again, read the awesome Mickey card for us! She kept saying.. this was a great day to come over!! Ha.

Kamryn got the cutest shirts and ruffle skirt ever! She LOVES them so much!! The purple shirt is a Sassy Tinkerbell shirt. She loves it when Tink has sass.

Kamryn's second shirt was a CUTIE ARIEL shirt. It was so perfect. She totally loves the cutie appliques!!

I love that both shirts coordinate so well with the ruffle skirt that also fits perfectly. Speaking of matching.. check out Owen's cool outfit!! Owen got a three piece Monster's Inc set. The tee has Randall embroidered on it and Owen loves the "bad guys". Randall is definetly a bad guy. Then he has the cutest shorts and bowling shirt. On the back of the bowling shirt, it is embroidered with Mike and Sully! Owen LOVES Monster's Inc so you can imagine how much he loves this.

Thank you so much Ellen!! You are extremely talented and I appreciate you taking the time to make my kids such great outfits! Thanks!!

The last Big Give came from Colleen!!

We saved this box for after Owen's nap because he was starting to have a meltdown after the 2nd give. He is catching a bug and does not feel like himself this afternoon. I never know if it's cardiac related or just a normal bug. He was THRILLED when he woke up and remembered there was another package to open!!

They were so excited to find a Mickey's Clubhouse box full of Travel Survival kit goodies!!

Again.. Owen loved the Cars bandaids the most and said "I LOVE these and they are MINE!"

There was a sewing kit, wipes, chap stick, hand sanitzer, bug spray (I hear we need this in FL), tide stick, altoids, Qtips, bandaids, tissues, gum, nail files, sunblock, and glowsticks!! Everything will be put to good use at the parks!! Thank you so much!! I wouldn't have thought of half of these things.

We are so lucky to be so spoiled and these amazing gives are making the time fly by til our trip. We are getting excited and have officially completed one row on our countdown calendar!! Thank you ladies so much for everything!!!

Owen went to the pediatrician on Friday and was diagnosed with Strep!! He has been on antibiotics since then and yesterday he started turning YELLOW! I texted his cardiologist (on Sunday!) and he called me back right away. He doesn't seem to think the Jaundice is cardiac related (or liver related), but I am backing off some of the cardiac meds just in case.

I'll run him to the pediatrician in the morning to make sure he's on the up and up!

I picked up the mail on my way to Heart Moms Night Out last night. It's so nice to get together with other local heart moms and share a night of laughs. I grabbed the mail and there was a package from diser: hey-jude!! Of course, I waited til the morning to let the kids know they had a package.

Inside the package was a give just for ME!!! Inside was the cutest Mickey Purse ever!! I love it so much.. thank you!! Its perfect!! There were pictures taken from the smallest of my chicklets and we had many pictures of the ceiling and floor... none of me, nor the purse!

Inside my bag were two smaller packages for the kids. Inside there were the cutest Mickey Safari embroidered shirts! They will be so great for Animal Kingdom.. thank you!!

The kids love their shirts and I love my bag!! Thank you so much Steward family!! Owen is in love with the cute card as well. He keeps looking at all the stickers and telling us stories about each sticker!! We just advised him that Pluto is Mickey's dog and he loved that!

He's still feeling pretty crummy. He was so yellow, but his skin is changing back to his normal dusky color. Everytime he gets sick, he starts to get puky. So now we are working on getting him tolerating food again. I love that he has a gtube at times like these so I can keep him hydrated!!

Owen is still feeling so crummy. He isn't tolerate food, only fluids, and I am so grateful for his Gtube!! I am starting to think the antibiotics make his GI system go crazy.. and when he's puking.. he's miserable! Anyway.. it was exciting to wake up from a 2 hour nap and find 3 packages on our front porch!! MICKEY MAIL!!!

Owen picked out the first package to open and it was from diser: miprender!!

There were two large bags filled with the cutest car outift for Owen and personalized autograph books for the kids!

Owen loves his outfit so much, especially the embroidered car on the front!! As you can see.. it fits perfectly!!

The kids spent forever looking through every page of the autograph books. We have never done autographs before and they are so excited!! I scheduled enough character meals that they should get every single page filled easily!! Thank you free dining!!

Thanks Michelle.. the kids LOVE their books and Owen loves his outfit. He didn't want to take it off.

Package two came from diser: purple ears! Owen loved that it said "To Owen and Kamryn" on the back.. he could totally read it and got all excited!!

They got the cutest little embroidered patchwork shirt and short sets!! I'm glad you wrote that they went with the Mickey Safari shirts. We had to try out the sets!

Owen wouldn't hold still enough to let me take a closeup of his shorts and he refused to take them off. He's still wearing them 3 hours later!!

The detail is amazing and we can tell you put a lot of time into these cute patchwork bottoms. I cannot wait for Animal Kingdom day so the kids can wear their matching outfits!! Thank you so much Flora!! We love them!!

The final package of the day was also a hit! They always want to save the BIGGEST box for last!! This package came from diser: sgarrity. The name was familiar as we have been following your pre-trip report!!!

They were tearing into the tissue paper!!

Owen got a cars book, cars pj's, a new Mcqueen car (loves it!), and a monster bag! He has been carrying all his toys around in the Monster bag for the past 3 hours.. who knew a bag would keep him so entertained!

Kamryn got a super cute Minnie shirt, a paint by number set (which she is playing with right now instead of doing homework), a butterfly pen and lipgloss!!

We continue to be overwhelmed with all the packages.. we are so grateful for everything!! Thanks to all of you!!

Kamryn is working on her armor for her Halloween costume. She decided she wanted to be Princess Zelda for Halloween. There are no costumes to "purchase" and so it has to be handmade.

The armor is made out of $.90 foam sheets and we are trying to figure out the head piece now. There are a million steps in turning foam to awesome armor! The dress is being sewn by my Grandma's housekeeper and I still need to work on the gloves and elf ears. Wednesday we will paint the fabric sash down the front. She doesn't like to do things easy!! Ha.

Now I'd better run.. Owen opened up the Pumpkin Carving kit and is trying to saw things around the house!! EEK.
