Owen's Wish DISNEYWORLD 2011!!

What great things the kids got today. I love the matching patchwork outfits! Everything else looks great too. I hope that Owen feels better today!

Yeah you received my package.:cool1: This was the first time I ever sewed for someone other than my kids so I was a little nervous about the sizing of the shorts but Owen seems to be about the same size as my DS3.

Love all the other items too. I love that AK skirt:goodvibes

They got the cutest little embroidered patchwork shirt and short sets!! I'm glad you wrote that they went with the Mickey Safari shirts. We had to try out the sets!

Thanks for posting a picture of the full outfits. They are definitely going to be well dressed for their AK day!

I hope Owen is feeling better today.

so glad they enjoyed the items. We had the greatest fun shopping for them. I got my 4 year old the same PJ's and bag and he loves him as well. DeAnna got the same t-shirt as your daughter.

Owen is still yellow. I ran him to the pediatrician today and we ran some blood work.

SO I just got a call from Owen's pediatrician.. Owen's bilirubin levels are at 7.. norm is 1.5 or less. He's definetly jaundice! So far his liver/kidney functions look good. She consulted Dr McOmber (GI) and they think he has a blockage somewhere. We are doing an abdomen ultrasound at PCH tomorrow afternoon. If there are stones or blockage.. we're talking immediate surgery. I'll of course be doing a ton of research.. consulting GI, Cardiology and our team at Stanford before sending Owen under cardiac anesthesia if needed. I would even consider making an emergency trip to Stanford if needs be for surgery. Anyway.. keep the little Mister in your prayers. He's acting fine today, with the exception of his yellow coloring.

Another idea is that he is having some rare complication with Amoxicillan. He has never needed antibiotics before (aside from IV antibiotics after surgery/caths). There is some research that Augmentin can cause increased bilirubin levels, but we weren't on it. Anyway..we stopped antibiotics immedietly.

Oh boy - lots of prayers and hugs for you guys!!!:grouphug: I hope it all gets figured out QUICKLY!!!!!

Hope Owen will be feeling better soon and surgery won't have to happen :goodvibes

just got caught up, boy did you all received some wonderful BigGive goodies! love all the cute outfits!

I'll be hoping and praying that your little guy is ok. Sending positive thoughts your way!

Owen wouldn't hold still enough to let me take a closeup of his shorts and he refused to take them off. He's still wearing them 3 hours later!!

I am glad the package got there without any problems! Thank you for posting the picture of Kamryn and Owen wearing their outfits! Seeing their beautiful smiles is worth more than the time I spent on making the bottoms. I hope they will have a great day at Animal Kingdom!

Oh and I guess Owen really liked those shorts! I see refusal to take a piece of clothing off as the best compliment a child will give!

Oh no! I am sorry to hear about this turn of events. I will be praying for Owen, your family, and his medical team.

Thank you for all the prayers!! Owen has his ultrasound later today and I'll make sure to post an update!!

Owen had his abdominal ultrasound late this afternoon. His pancreas, liver, gallbladder, kidneys and bladder look great!!! We still have no idea why his bilirubin levels are so high though.:confused3 They agreed to send us home and we will return tomorrow to draw labs. I am hoping we see a significant decline in his bilirubin levels.

I'm leaning towards the Amoxicillin being the culprit. He is on 9 other medications and I have a feeling he had a bad cross reaction to the medications. I stopped the Antibiotics yesterday, so by tomorrow, that would reflect in his Billi numbers. If his numbers are still high.. I don't know the next plan.

It's so great to get good results on his other major organs though. I always wonder what his poor cardiac output is doing to his other organs. Today's news was welcome!!

We had a long day and were all so excited to see MICKEY MAIL waiting for us!! This package came from disname: mommyof2princesses.

Inside the package were the cutest embroidered Epcot shirts. Carson called them Christmas ball shirts at first, then I had to explain that they were Epcot shirts. He's apparently never been to the WORLD before!! Ha.

Whew - hoping you find results soon!! Glad his organs look good!

Okay - so Kamryn is just such a cutiepie - what a good big sister!!!

Hehe - Carson - you can take a ride in that ball!!!

You all look great in your shirts!:thumbsup2

Thank you for the update on Owen. YOu have all been in my thoughts today.

Love the Epcot shirts.

Great news his organs are doing good! hope the labs will be just as good tomorrow!

love those shirts!

I am glad that Owen's organs looked good. I am sure you are still nervous about why he was jaundiced. I hope that his bilirubin levels start to drop today. The Epcot shirts look great. I could see thinking they were Christmas shirts if you've never been there before. Epcot is so much fun! Your family is going to love it! Test Track is one of my favorite rides.

Glad they got there! Been worrying about them all week! Forget to add washing instructions!

Wash inside out in cold water. Do not put them in the dryer! The epcot balls have lame and it could melt! If you need to iron, iron on the inside!

It's not a Christmas Ball it's a giant golf ball!!! :goodvibes
Luvin all the big gives
