Hey guys, so I have a one day Disney trip planned in November and my family and I are all getting the parkhopper pass. Now we've been to these parks dozens of times, but this trip kicked me into over drive mode and I have been planning non stop! I fear now that my plans are too ambitious and that we won't have enough time to do everything! Here are the rides I have planned for the ONE day we will be there:
Magic Kingdom- Winnie the Pooh
The Little Mermaid
Pirates of the Caribbean
Mickey's Philarmagic Show

monorail to Epcot- Test Track
Frozen Ever After (FP hopefully)
Spaceship Earth
Imagination with Figment

Animal Kingdom- Na'vi River Journey
DINOSAUR
Rivers of Light show

Please help guys! If there is anything you think I can take off the list let me know!!

The only thing I see that might make this hard is the unpredictable wait time for Na'vi River Journey by November. If you are going to FP FEA - then you won't have one for that - so who knows how long that line might be.

But - as long as you stick to the plan - you can do all this stuff in one day. It's a whirlwind - but doable.

Pirates of the Caribbean
Mickey's Philarmagic Show

Is this the order you are trying to do them in? Id suggest Pooh, Little Mermaid, Philharmagic then Pirates rather than leaving Fantasyland for Pirates then coming back for Philharmagic.

Frozen Ever After (FP hopefully)
Spaceship Earth

Test Track via single rider would be your best bet her and if not I would expect to wait 45-60+ minutes.

Animal Kingdom- Na'vi River Journey
DINOSAUR
Rivers of Light show

Gotta wait and see what time AK closes this winter but on the right day this is certainly doable. It will be alot of down time waiting for RoL, watching the show, River Journey queue but should be doable.

When/where are you planning on eating?

That's what I was worried about! I've been hoping that the Na'vi River Journey might calm down some by November so that the wait times won't be as bad but I have no clue!

What... didn't want to hit the grand slam with all 4 parks in one day? You're almost there! Just a little more planning and you can squeeze in DHS.

It may calm down but the park won't be open as long either.

No the rides weren't in order and we were probably just going to stop at one of the food stands and grab a hot dog and keep walking haha! But can you explain more about the down time waiting for RoL? Like I don't know how long we would have to wait for it.

I would suggest getting your three fast passes as early as possible. Once you complete them immediately get your next fast pass. It seems like a lot of rides. But if you can time it right I don't think it's impossible. I think Frozen and Avatar are your biggest obstacles you have. The wait times I could see being a problem. But if you can somehow get a fast pass for either that will save you a lot of time!

Well, you'll want to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to a show lasting 15ish minutes and then it will take another 5 minutes or so to get out of the theater so basically that one attraction is an investment of like an hour or so. Lets say you get a 9pm closing of AK on this day in November and a 7:45 pm RoL you'd have to be in AK for like 3 pm to make sure you've got enough time for Dino, the River Journey via standby and then RoL.

I was thinking about DHS but I would only want to go on one ride aka the Great Movie Ride before it closes next year haha! It's been hard to reason making all the effort to go to DHS just to go on the one ride with my family! :P And btw GO KNIGHTS! So many members of my family go to UCF or used to go there!!

Are these all the rides you will try to do? If so, I don't think you'll have much of an issue regardless of order. But there is no reason to be at MK at rope drop for those rides so I'd probably push it to the middle of the day and RD either Epcot or AK. I'd probably suggest getting a FP for Navi instead of Frozen. Rope Drop Frozen and then do Test Track single rider. Those are really the only 3 rides that will give you any trouble all day. FP one, RD one, and Test Track has SR.

Oh lord! That's a lot of commitment for just the one show haha I'm not sure how worth it that will all be ):

I think I might switch it so that I go to Epcot in the morning so FEA and TT are out of the way and then Magic Kingdom and then Animal Kingdom. You actually helped me a lot, thank you!!

I think Rivers of Light would be your biggest "issue". Its the one thing that HAS to be done at night and it very well may be held in the park that closes the earliest.

If you got rid of RoL you could start your day at Animal Kingdom and rope drop River Journey, then head to Dino.

After that head to Epcot and knock out your mid day stufff via standby and FP+ then head to MK that evening where you could grab additional FP+ throughout the day for those attractions.

I would do Epcot first, then Magic Kingdom and FastPass the stuff at Animal Kingdom. You can also get pay extra to get direct park-to-park service from inside the parks. I think the one-day cost is $19 per person, so it may add up, but not having to track back to the entrances may save you 30-60 minutes on a day like this.

Another thing to consider is when in November you are going. If it is close to thanksgiving the parks will be packed and wait times will be high for everything. If its earlier in November you will probably be ok.

I've gone through a similar schedule in one day so it is definitely doable. One thing I do that I would consider is somewhat ranking the rides by how much you "need" to do them. I always have 1 or 2 must dos, a few want to dos, and the rest are if there is time. Then keep your eye on wait times. Waiting too long for a ride means you might have to sacrifice doing a ride later on in the day. Therefore, if a ride that is lower on your list has a wait time of more than say 1/2 an hour, you run the risk of not having time to do a ride you really want to do later. Don't wait in a long line to ride just because it's "scheduled" next.

Depending on the size of your party and available budget, I would also look into the express transportation. When I have done more than 2 parks in a day and trying to fit in a lot of rides it was extremely helpful. You are able to save the time of walking from the bus stop to the front gates and going through bag check. If you're only switching parks once it isn't a huge time savings, but since you are switching parks twice it could save enough time for one more ride (on one of the ones with a shorter wait). The biggest plus (for me at least) is that the buses leave at a specific time (and in my experience those times are pretty dependable) so you are not standing there waiting. For example, one time in EPCOT they said the bus would leave in 1/2 an hour, so I was able to squeeze in a ride on spaceship earth instead of just standing at a bus stop for long periods of time and not knowing when the next bus would get there. I am usually at the parks by myself, though, so the price was much more feasible for me. With larger families the cost may be too much to be worth it.
