I have had my black Overland for about 2 weeks now and absolutely love it!

I got mine in Picanta/with the daisy lining. Picante is red and the lining is black/white flowers. I can't wait to get it - it's scheduled to arrive on Thursday.

if you don't mind me asking ~ when did you place your order?? I placed mine on Tuesday, 3/6 and it's still showing as "in process" on the shoebuy.com website I have called twice and they keep telling me "it will ship later today or tomorrow" meanwhile, it still sits in their warehouse

Okay, peer pressure I couldn't take it any more. I have been eye balling this bag for months. I can't pass up a good deal so I just purchased one in Sand. I got mine from shoebuy for $37.40.

The pictures are not very good. Can anyone tell me if the top/back of the bag has a zipper ? Or does it just have the flap that opens ? I can't wait to get mine and give it a test run before we go to disney in June.

Okay, I took advantage of this great deal also! I ordered mine in the blue - maybe called Vero Blue or something? I also liked the Slate/Plum, but thought the blue would be easier to keep track of.

And thanks to the PP for posting about ebates - I spend so much $$ at amazon, it's not even funny. The ebates will help me out!

If I can figure out how to post pics once I get it, I will. I also got a shipping confirmation, mines supposed to be here on Monday.

I ordered my Donner bag on Tuesday 3/6 and it wasn't shipped until 3/9 and won't get here until 3/15. I wonder if the delays in shipping or the differences for some of us could have to do with the color bag we ordered? I'm glad I ordered it now since our trip isn't until 4/14.

I ordered mine on 3/11 and I got an email that it shipped on 3/13.

Finally! My bag has shipped and is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday.

I looked at the bag in REI before I ordered it...I think it has a zipper on top. The flap is on the front of the bag and does not cover the top opening. There is also a back pocket that you could put maps in or something sort of flat. Here's some pics from the overland equipment site that might be better to see.

WOW...there will be a lot of bags arriving to people within the next week. It just kills me that I have to wait over the weekend. I'm just so anxious to see them in person.

I ordered mine from Shoebuy on March 6 using the savings info I found here. (And thank you to the person who posted that!) It showed up on my doorstep today in a very battered UPS box. The bag itself was in fine shape, though, and I love it. We're taking a short trip (not to Disney, sadly!) this weekend, and I can't wait to try it. It looks like it'll be able to hold all of my travel basics, plus some.

I got the Chocolate/Soma, which I like but don't think would be for everyone.

I'm so jealous that you got yours already. Glad that you like it. It does look really nice online but I'm always afraid that I'll be disappointed once it arrives. From all the reviews, I'm sure that won't be the case.

I ordered mine from Shoebuy.com (thanks SO much for the person that posted the discount info!!) and it's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow!! I can't wait! I got the lime green w/ the flowers inside! I originally ordered the baggallini messenger bag, but didn't like it as much as I thought I would, so I just sent that one back tonight in hopes of my Donner bag being delivered tomorrow!

It looks like a winner. I haven't had a chance to load it up and give it a try, but I will soon. I now have two bags (the Donner and the Ameribag Tech - the Bagallini is already out of the running) and I fear it's time to make the big decision - which one to dub the "best bag for me!" I'll try to post pictures. Wish me luck on this most important decision!

Thanks so much for the great information. Those pictures where better. I could see the zipper in back. I keep thinking it looks big, but then I think about everything I will be putting in there. I wish I could travel light, but with 3 kids that won't happen. Now I just wish I had ordered the blue instead of the sand. Oh well !!! Hope everyone likes there bag. I'll let you know when mine arrives.
