Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't been around today. I thought I'd get a few trip details posted today but work was busy. As some of you know, I get off work at Noon on Friday and once I get home, I start doing those "homey" things. Things like washing clothes, cooking, clearning, etc.

Lacey and the girl Mission students are coming to the house tomorrow. I am so excited! They are traveling from Georgia to Texas and have to come down I-20 right through our town. Lacey talked the leaders into stopping at our house for the night. So, tomorrow, I will have an extra 11 people sleeping over.

I hope I can post something Sunday. Hope everybody has a good weekend!

We were so happy to get to see Lacey even if it was just for one night. The mission kids pulled in about 6:00 p.m. last night and pulled out at a little before 9:00 a.m. this morning. Hey, I'll take any time I can get with her. We won't see her again until the middle of May.

We stayed in the pirate room last year-we all really liked it. Girls also liked the pool-to bad they only went in 2x cause of the rain...Looks like a fun first night. We plan to go to Ep on fri after out bkfst ADR at Cape May.

We never did get a chance to swim in the main pool. We spent our down time at the quiet pool and riding surrey bikes. I love the CBR grounds.

The hot dogs were good, but now I have indigestion from the chili and onions .

I love me some hot dogs with lots of onions.!

On a more positive note, I'm sure Mama will love CBR. I think it looks awesome---Love the laid-back beachy atmosphere!

You'll be quite proud of me. I didn't buy one single thing from the Vera Bradley site. I am, however, wataching several Vera Braldey items on ebay. I found a lady that starts the Vera Bradley hipsters at just 99 cents!

Oh, what lovely pictures!! I'm sure your mom will not be let down!!! It is such a gorgeous resort!

And nothing is better than arrival day. It's so exciting, you know you have the whole week ahead of you and it's such a relaxing day!!! I absolutely cannot wait another few weeks until September's park hours come out so I can plan out all of our days!!! Oooo, that is so much fun!!

The CBR is so pretty that we like to spend at least a day just relaxing around the resort. Usually, we keep our arrival date open just so we can rest up for our first day in the park.

I know your anxious for the park hours to be posted. Then, you'll be able to plan your days.

I was so very excited to see my baby girl. I've always said that I would take any amount of time with Lacey no matter how short it was. However, it was hard to see her go this time. We didn't get to share much one-on-one time since all of the Mission girls were here too. They got to our house a little before 6:00 p.m. Saturday and they were out by 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning. They were heading to a Christian ministries conference in Texas and needed to get on the road.

We did get to share a few minutes in the kitchen while the others were watching a movie. Hunter was in the kitchen with us too. One of us said something funny which caused Lacey to spew tea out her nose and tea came dribbling out of her mouth. I, of course, started laughing hysterically and dropped to my knees to keep from peeing my pants. Hunter was laughing too. Too bad John wasn't in the kitchen to share this warm and fuzzy family memory.

Hey, I never said we were "normal" but it's those kind of silly moments with us that I want my kids to remember. Whenever one of the kids say "you're such a dork" or "we're such goofballs", that's okay with me. I just tell them it could be lots worse....we could all fight constantly and never get along. We all know we are blessed to be so close.

We won't see Lacey again until May. That's a long time to not see her but I have no choice. The missionary life is what Lacey wants to do. She feels it's her calling so who am I to say no?

I spent yesterday and today sick with some kind of cold. I slept almost all afternoon yesterday which is very very unlike me. I don't nap. When I got to work today, my boss was sick too. Apparently, we caught whatever it is from each other. That's what we get for using each other's phone and passing papers back and forth.

Back to good news! Who would have ever thought that the New Orleans Saints would win the Super Bowl? I honestly didn't know if they had it in 'em. Guess they proved me wrong!

The silly moments are the ones that stand out in mind and you end up talking about them for years to come.

Big mistake, Mary...... I would know..... Within 30 minutes of Lisa sending me the sellers' names, I had 3 active bids out on purses!
