There are several of us that are right where you are at and you have already received some great advice. What it ultimately comes down to is you just have to jump in and keep going, no matter what.
We didn't get this way overnight, and it will take a while for all the weight to come off. It's going to be frustrating sometimes and you will want to give up. I've "given up" too many times to count, but ultimately I realize that for my health and in order to be around for my kids in the future and to do all of the things I want to do, I have to try again.
So I pick myself back up and try to jump back in again.
I have to say, I think one of the biggest factors that contributes to me being successful is community support. I run a daycare from my home and don't get out much. The WISH board is where I get support from my "friends". I find that if I visit
and post everyday, I am much more successful.
Find a thread to join - you could probably hop into the Biggest Loser challenge, there is a "Massive" thread for those of us with huge amounts of weight to lose, join the exercise or weight loss challenge...wherever you feel comfortable posting. Everyone I have "met" on this board has been so helpful and there are so many people here that are truly inspirational with their dedication to becoming healthier.
I look forward to seeing your around and chatting!
