I took our first cruise on the Magic a couple weeks ago. I'm trying to remember correctly as we had to use an adaptor (the two circular pronged ones) in order to use the outlets except by the desk (which had the normal two long slots). Is this normal on all the ships? I'm asking as I specifically remember having to use my adaptor by the bed outlet (then again, age and lack of sleep may be playing my mind). We leave on the Fantasy in september and will have two of our kids with us this time so I want to have more outlets available. TIA

The Fantasy has regular outlets next to the bed and on the desk. I believe it may have a different one for the hair dryer only though. I haven't been on the Magic but I haven't had to use an adapter on the other 3 ships.

There are both types of outlets on board the Dream and Fantasy for sure. The circle prongs are generally for the hair dryer (and it assists with guests who travel internationally) and is located near the desk. If you have a lot of USB charging devices, you might consider purchasing a USB hub that allows you to charge multiple devices at once.

Thanks! Yes I bought an Anker (think thats the name) multi usb charger and it sure came in handy to recharge my cameras!
