I have a question for all of you that pre-ordered on amazon.com. Will they send the book out on the launch date or will they ship it to arrive on the scheduled launch date?
I would hate to pre-order it and then have to wait an extra 3-5 days after the release to receive it. I want to have An Echo in the Bone in my hands ASAP!!!

Fiery Cross is my least favorite - I am not a huge Brianna fan. I think Voyager is my favorite overall. Anyone else?

I wasn't crazy about Fiery Cross, either. It seemed like we spent an awful lot of time hearing about Brianna breastfeeding her son in that one.

I liked Voyager best, too, I think. When Claire comes back to Jamie- ooooh, one of the best scenes ever!!!

I already ordered it. It will be waiting for me when I get back from WDW.

Until then I have to finish re-reading Breath of Snow.

I am so so SOOOO excited!

I love these books! Diana is my 2nd favorite author (after Elizabeth Peters). I own all the Outlander books in hardcover, and have read and re-read them over and over. In fact, I had to buy a replacement for Fiery Cross because my copy imploded and completely fell apart. I read it many times, and my best friend, and my DH read it as well. I think we killed it.

My least fav of the series is Dragonfly... don't know why but it just didn't appeal to me. My MOST fav is Voyager... love love LOVE the printshop scene. I also loved Drums of Autumn.

My birthday is September 24 so Happy Birthday to Me! I will spend my b-day cozied down with a pitcher of iced tea, a fuzzy blanket, and my new Jamie book!

disneydiva58 - I preordered a long a time ago on Amazon, but when I checked the other day, it showed the 24th as the delivery date, so I cancelled my order. I will be buying it locally as soon as the store opens on Tuesday and probably done with my first read through by the time it would have gotten here from Amazon. Not sure why they are not doing as they've done with other hot releases and guaranteeing drop-day delivery.

I am also excited - I love these books! I was going to preorder from Amazon, but I don't believe they are shipping it to be received on the release date, so my plan is to use one of the 30% off coupons I get from Border's weekly to pick it up.

I always try to reread the series before the new book comes out - however, this summer I have a 2 month old baby so it's not going as quickly as usual! I'm about halfway through Voyager right now.

I am! I just downloaded Outlander on my Kindle and I'm going to re-read them all. Super excited!!

Hooray! So glad to know I'm not the only one planning the last half of September around the book arriving! I ordered mine in April (it was a birthday present from my BFF) and I've been waiting for it since then!

Let's hope it's worth the wait...

Just can't wait for the first few pages to fall open in my lap, as I sit here in the chair, with anticipation...
