Yes. Sam and Omie's is open for lunch. Have a great trip!

I forgot about Sam and Omie's. It looks like a shack, but they have good food for reasonable prices. (I highly recommend the fried veggie basket).

The last time I went to Sam and Omies, I saw a rabbit hanging out underneath their front porch. After our meal, I went up to the counter to pay and commented to the cashier that I had seen a cute bunny near the front door. She told me that one of the owner's had died the previous year and that the rabbit was her (reincarnated). I wasn't sure what to say after that, but I think of it every time I pass by there. So if you go, be sure to look for the bunny!!

This thread has me so excited to go on vacation. I can't wait to get there. Come on August. Thanks for the wonderful dining advice too. A girl needs a nice birthday dinner.
