We are medically vulnerable and planning a trip to visit the parks. What character meet and greets and rides are all outdoors? For example, Pooh in Town Square at MK is what I am looking for. Waiting inside at Town Sq for Mickey is not as good, but would depend on wait time. Dumbo and Small World are mostly outside and would be ok. TIA!

Might be hard to come up with a comprehensive list.

Off the top of my head…
Small World is completely indoors, so that likely won’t work for you.
BTMRR is outdoors. The queue is in a “building,” but it’s not enclosed, if that makes sense.
Dumbo is mostly outdoors. Magic Carpets of Aladdin are all outdoors if I remember correctly. Jungle Cruise has a brief time where you go through a cave but is otherwise all outdoors.

At Epcot, I don’t think any of the rides will work. The only one that goes outside for any period of time is TT, and that’s just for a minute at the end.

At HS, SDD is all outdoors as are the swirling saucers.

At AK, the Safari is outdoors as is Kali River Rapids. EE is mostly outdoors.

I may be forgetting some and I’m having a hard time remembering where a lot of the characters meet, so sorry I’m not any help there.

Thanks

Thank you! This is great! Small World line is outdoors-y enough that I am ok with it. I remembered the Mad Hatter is all outside so I will add that to my list!

You may be right about Epcot but there is much to see and eat outside there and I will be there during the Flower & Garden Festival tool. I will have to look for lines with short wait times and take advantage of those.

Thanks

The entire 10+ minute ride of Small World is indoors, is what I meant. Yes, the line is outdoors-y.

I forgot about the Mad Tea Party! I can’t ride that one or I’ll lose whatever the last meal is that I ate.

People mover is mostly outdoors. I think there are some outdoors meet and greets at fantasy land, but mostly princesses. Someone meets outdoors at epcot in a little porch near Mexico and all of the princesses in the countries meet outdoors. Usually daisy is by the international gate.

I will add a couple Mk attractions that I don't think have been mentioned yet:
Swiss Family Robinson treehouse is completely outdoors
Carosuel is outdoors
Tea Cups is outdoors
Tommorowland Speedway is outdoors
Astro Orbiter is outdoors (other than a less than sixty second elevator ride)
Goofy Barnstormer is outdoors

And I will agree with @KrazeeK120 that you may want to avoid Small World. Its a slow moving ride that is completely indoors. Yeah, the line is open air, but its descending down to the water line where you cannot even see the fantasyland thoroughfare for the majority of it. Maybe clarify if you're trying to avoid indoor only lines rather than attractions. Because if you are trying to avoid a feeling of indoor generally, Small World is not the way to go

AK you also have all of the animal walking paths, the dinosaur kiddie ride (similar to dumbo) the train, Rafiki's Planet Watch (part is indoors but you can skip it and head to the petting zoo instead). The bird show, feathered friends, is also very open air. There are a few outdoor character greets too, Chip & Dale comes to mind immediately. Kevin is often wandering around outside. And Also lots and lots of outdoor seating for meals.

The Epcot princesses are outdoors, like Aurora by Remy and Belle by the lake in France, Jasmine, and so on. You can see these in the app, they tend to be pretty short appearances.

But there's still a normal, crowded line, like anywhere else. It's just outside, instead of inside.

Thanks everyone! Yes I know that it’ll be tough and I’m ok with some indoors but it’s great to see what is all outdoors versus some so I can plan a fun trip better that meets our needs! I am glad to have everyone commenting!

I think I must be misremembering Small World since I thought it felt very open when we want or maybe I just greatly enjoyed the long and slow and calm ride!

I also am open to any suggestions of fun things to look at when outdoors too. We don’t need to push this trip to the max since we’re just happy to be at Disney!
