Out with the old, making room for the new

DD's had to spend awhile in their rooms today hoeing out the toys in their closets, toy boxes, shelves etc....

They had so much CRAP in there it wasn't funny. 1/2 decks of cards, puzzle that should have 100 pieces, have 50 etc... We normally go through the DD's rooms 2-3 times a year, and take out the clutter...we JUST did this in September...

I stood in the garage, looking around with a completely dumbfounded look on my face. My Quad, the XR650, my bike, the tractor, ramps, 2 sets of summer tires, soccer goals, 4 bags of soccer balls, 3 bags of basketballs, 4 bikes, 3 powerwheels jeeps, a mower deck, and more crap that I couldnt see...Yup, DD's quad is gonna fit in here WHERE????

Anyone else get worried about where the xmas presents are going to end up? I thought it was bad enough making room for the tree!

Wow! Wanna come clean my closet out for me? I always get half way into that kind of thing and just give up!

I ordered DD a Little Tykes Kitchen. Don't know how we are going to fit that in to her room! LOL! Along with all of the Pots and Pans and Play food. I'm sure it will stay in the living room for a while. Maybe take the place of the basketball hoop?!?

Fortunately most of her other gifts are small.

Since DD turned 3 we made the "one toy in, one toy out" rule. Cleaning the toy box and closets are a regular event in our house. Otherwise we'd be living in the car and the toys would be living in the house
