My husband and I planned a 17 day trip to OKW for this coming December. Subsequent to making our reservation, he took a new job and now does not have enough vacation time to stay for the whole trip. He's staying a week and then he will depart. At that point, I've invited a friend of mine to join me for the remainder of the trip.

Is it as simple as going to the front desk and having her added as a resort guest? Can I do it when she arrives, or what? We are NOT on the dining plan.

Thanks.

Debbie

That should be fine. Just bring her to the front desk and they should be able to get her a room key.

Thanks. That's what I thought. But it occurred to me that I'm going to feel terrible if it's more trouble than that, now that I've opened my mouth and extended the invitation.

I would just call MS now and add her if it's only DH and you that would just be 3 on the ressie then you wouldn't have to worry about doing it when she arrives.

This would also let her use ME if she's flying into MCO.

I've done it for DN and it was no problem she was coming down later in the week.Things changed and she never made it but it was very easy to do.

I agree, I would add her to the ressie at the beginning and then you will not have to go to the front desk to check her in when she arrives.

She can use ME and that will save you a trip to the airport (if you have a car) and you will have her key and be ready to go.

You are not exceeding occupancy, so you can call MS and add her right away.

If you were on the DP, it would be more complicated.

I called MS to add a friend that is staying the last 2 days of our trip. I was also able to book his ME departure. I just got his departure tags, and bus pass in the mail.

Very good suggestions. Thank you all.

Debbie
