Out of the Port Orleans Resorts...which is more romantic?

I don't know if I've convinced him totally yet....at first he was like no, no, no. But now he is nodding and smiling and stuff....I got out our old WDW pictures and watched the Cruise video with him.....I think he's coming around!!!

Thanks for all the replies everyone! I am kind of leaning towards Port Orleans Riverside, in the Mansions section, just because I like that there is a restaurant and a couple of pools.

BUT, the French Quarter sounds nice because it is more intimate and not a huge resort!



Ok, I gotta do some thinking!!

The only thing you want to keep in mind is that you can "request" the mansion section when you make your reservation but you could still end up in the "AB" section.

Oh by the way - my vote is for POFQ......I loved it there!

I noticed that you were in a wedding gown at Disney. Where did you stay? Was it romantic? We're getting married at Disney too and unsure of where to stay.

DH and I stayed at POR for a few nights last May in a king room before checking into our DVC unit and I loved it. The walk along the river in the morning to go for breakfast was very romantic. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. In May EVERYTHING was in bloom and the smells were fantastic.
I couldn't think of anything more romantic than sitting on a bench facing the river on the grounds of POR. We stayed in Magnolia Bend area and we did walk the entire resort over to Alligator Bayou. I do think the MB area was the more romantic of the two simply because it gives you the feeling of being on the grounds of an old southern plantation mansion, sort of like "Gone with
the Wind"!!!!
