Hi there! I just sent a package to Wil today and my husband will be headed up there for Steelers game Sunday: which will get there first? I hope the package!

I loved reading your pre-trip report: your kids are so cute! My sister is a red-head born to non-red-heads so we got a lot of questions too. My parents said there was a red headed mom with a dark haired baby in the hospital same time and they thought they should offer to switch. I remembered thinking often they should have, lol!

Anyway, hope you get it soon and Wil likes it. I remember how exciting it was to get mail as a kid.

I just read your report! Are you still going to Le Cellier on the 15th? We have an ADR for 340pm that day. I didn't know if your plans had changed since you posted that some 150 days ago. LOL

Hello from single digit land!!!!

I have not kept up at all with my pretrip report have I?

It has suddenly hit me that we leave in 9 days. Almost 8!

I had a giant list of all the things I was going to get done before Disney which I am now eliminating lots from to try to be realistic. It doesn't help that I'm scheduled a ton at work this week coming up. I guess they wanted to use me up before they let me go away.

So, I ordered blank shirts from Jiffyshirts.com and made my final decisions about which dissigns I want to use. I was contacted by a lovely person from the Big Give who wanted to make sure what shirts I was making because she was supposed to make us "family shirts". So I made sure I wasn't stepping on any angel toes. I still haven't actually made the shirts, but I bought the transfer paper and I pre-washed the shirts.

I actually got to color my hair last night after the kids went to bed. Nothing major...just covered the (gulp) gray. And tonight I got it cut. It's too short, but you can't glue it back on. Kids both got cuts too.

I ordered new tennis shoes for us all for Disney. They all came and we've been breaking them in a bit. DH fussed because I made him get New Balance shoes since that's what I got for me and the kids too. We all must match!!

I turned in the form to Wil's school that said we're taking him out for a week. It was supposed to be turned in at least two weeks before, but it went today. I figure...it's 1st grade and he's smart. He's not missing the SAT's.

I finally bought luggage. It's red and it's big. I like it!

We've started getting Big Give stuff in the mail and it's so fun!!! First of all, these people are amazing!!! This stuff looks like I walked into the Disney Store and bought it! And it fits!! Which I was sure I had measured wrong and screwed them all up. But wonders never cease and a college educated woman can read a tape measure

I'm trying to get pictures up of the Big Give stuff. Technology and I don't always get along and DH has been out of town this week. He's back tonight so hopefully tomorrow I will have pictures up. Wait unitl you see it!!!!!

I really have to get off the computer for now. DH comes home in a while and when he's gone I live like a teenager whose parents are gone for the weekend. Must go tidy up before he walks in and has an attack.

Well, it's almost 10 and I'm almost finished packing. Yes, I live for the last minute!

I'm SO sorry that I haven't had a second to get on here. We have been blessed with the most amazing items from the big give and I haven't had a chance to properly thank everyone. That time is coming. This week has been a whirlwind...I was working more than normal and still trying to get ready to go away and get ready for Christmas. I haven't had a second to sit, let alone get on here.

But my most heartfelt and deepest appreciation goes out to you Big Give angels. Thank you for making my family feel like royalty before we ever even left home. I have taken pictures of everything and promise I will get them up here so everyone can see the amazing work you do. The fact that you all gave so unselfishly of yourselves, especially at a time when you are surely busy with your own holiday going's-on, speaks volumes for the beautiful people that you are and makes my heart swell.

I am taking my husband's laptop with us and will try to post, but I can't make any promises.

In less than 12 hours, we're on our way to the Big D!!!!!
I can hardly believe it.

Okay I've only read page 1 but I HAVE TO POST.

Our daughters sound so similar. Anastasia also has a seizure disorder, she had her first tonic clonic at 6 months, and so much of what you have experienced and how you describe your DD sounds like Asia. They are so similar.

I can't wait to read your Trip report I hope all went well and your DD had an AMAZING time.

Oh and I'm a TOTAL Janie & Jack ADDICT! LOL You don't know how excited I got when you said you work there.
