I think it was some kids "accident".
Yep made my first goal!
There will be pics of me.Last year there was only one out of hundreds so my dad drove me crazy with the camera this year.I will post a few-I hate the reality of photographs.

Yucky BK puddle... I can only imagine! And of course, of all your kids, it had to be Peyton to have the close encounter of the icky kind!!

It's been since about February. I turned 38 in March and thought it best be time I do something about it before it gets more difficult.

That is great about the weight loss.I lost almost 20 lbs and gained it all back in the last 6 months.

Well after our gross encounter we drove about another hour and stopped for dinner.GM wanted Sonnys and it took a few minutes and a couple of wrong turns to find it.Peyton and Rachel immediately started to complain that they didn’t want to eat there and as I was telling them they didn’t have a choice ,GP said we would get them something somewhere else. I just let it go.We got our food to go and then went to McDonalds for the picky ones.It took almost an hour to get dinner . To eat in the car.

I had just gotten the words”we should be there in about thirty minutes” out of my mouth when we started to slow down. Before long we were going 10 miles an hour and down to one lane. They were doing roadwoork and it took about thirty minutes to get through it.

We still arrived at Pop Century a few minutes after 11:00pm.A little over eight hours from our second departure!

The kids,GM and I went in to check in.The kids watched cartoons in the tv nook while we waited in line behind a few people.We were hoping to get a room that we could still stay in when we started our package the next day.My only requests were first floor and connecting rooms.We had payed for preferred also.The room we got was fourth floor and not connecting.The CM said there were no notes about my reuests with my ressie.WHAT?! I had checked on my requests several times before the trip and they were always there.The CM said that there was nothing that could be done that night but that we would be given new rooms the next day that met my requests.

We went back to the car and drove around to the parking lot closest to our room.I can’t remember the building but it was facing Lady and by the bowling pin pool.I meant to go back to take pictures during the day but never got around to it.

We unloaded the car ,taking as little as possible,but seemed to need almost everything.Upon arrival we saw we had our first and ONLY towel animals.The kids were thrilled with their dogs and between the two rooms they were able to have one each.

The kids had their showers and got in bed while I prepared the bags for in the morning.I took my shower and we were finally in the bed about 12:30am.The kids fell right to sleep but I couldn’t.We were in DISNEY!

Would we get up and get checked in with our package in time for rope drop??Would our room requests get met??

My biggest fear is my Dlittle ones putting their hand (or body) in something at those places. I am glad that Peyton took it well. It really could have ruined the rest of the road trip. (not that the orange cones were a good time )

I am glad to see that you finally made it to Pop. Can't wait to hear more!!

Even with all the bumps along the road I'm so glad you made it about 8 hours after your second departure and sounds like your kids manged the long car ride with ease! That's good, mine would never make it on a long car ride

I love the towel animals, they are so cute! Did you bring them home with you as souvenirs? You didn't get any the rest of the trip though?

I had to work late last night, so didn't get online after i got home. Woke up this AM and sat down to catch up with everyone , and LOOK! *2* updates! YAY!

Sorry for Peyton's experience at BK, that's just nasty and I can't believe the employees wouldn't want to be more attentive to the problem. Sorry bout the road construction too... nothing worse that having to drive 10 miles per hour when you have somewhere IMPORTANT to go!

Glad you made it safely, and in relatively good time, and can't wait to read more!

HI,Debbie! In was soo glad he didn't get any of it on his clothes. It would have been awful because his clothes were in the bottom of the pile of luggage.

They did pretty well on the way down.The trip back is a whole other story. Rae cried a few times but no major tantrums.
We did bring the towel animals home.Not sure if we were supposed to.We didn't get anymore for the rest of the trip. We got a ton last year.

HI! Yes I was not happy that they didn't seem too concerned with cleaning the play area. The next person may not have been as lucky and only gotten it on their hands.WE only made it in that time because my dad drives rather fast.

I have been gone all day and now I am going to help DH get ready to go out of town.If we get done early enough I will post the next installment tonight-if not it will be tomorrow.I will probably finish the entire report this week while he is gone.

Don't you love it when DH goes out of town. I seem to get more done when he is away. As long as it is not as long as my DH last trip out of town. He was gone for 5 months. Only home on the weekend. Hopefully your DH is not gone that long.
