Don't you love it when DH goes out of town. I seem to get more done when he is away. As long as it is not as long as my DH last trip out of town. He was gone for 5 months. Only home on the weekend. Hopefully your DH is not gone that long.

Okay somehow I have missed your report...I will get right on that.I have felt so behind in all my subscribed threads since I got back.

The main objectives this morning were to check in by 7:15 or 7:30am,get GP’s ECV,and get to Magic Kingdom as close to 8:30am as possible.This morning was LOEMH and I was afraid it would get crowded early.Also because of the room situation, we have to take our stuff back to the car until later in the day.

Now that I have shared the plan here is what actually happened.

The phone rang at 6:45am for my wakeup call.I believe it was Stitch but I am not totally sure.We are not morning people at all so the first hour is usually a little fuzzy. I took my shower,dressed and got the kids’ clothes out.I packed everything back into the bags except for the kids’ toothbrushes and then checked on GM.Lets just say we would NOT be in the lobby at 7:15am.I woke the kids and threw their ziplocs of clothes at them and they were ready in just a few minutes. Rebekah ate some cereal bites but Rachel and Peyton were too excited to eat.I did get Peyton to take his medicine so he had a few bites of applesauce(he won’t swallow the pill so he puts it in applesauce).Someone from Randy’s Mobility called that the ECV was at the hotel(its about 7:45am now)and GP ,Bekah,and Peyt go down to meet him .They did take suitcases with them to take to the car after getting the ECV.Finally about 8:00am GM and I make it to the lobby to check in with our package and get our tickets.

We only have to wait a few minutes and it is our turn with the CM only to find out GM doesn’t have her liscence.The CM let her check in without it but gave a very stern lecture about policies. We went over our requests(connecting and first floor) and at first she said there was nothing available on the first floor.WHAT?! I explained that we had been told it would not be a problem and asked for someone else to help us.She finally found something but said that one of the rooms would have a King sized bed instead of two doubles.I was fine with that so she gave me a card with a number to call later in the day to check to see when the room is ready.

We find GP,Bekah,and Peyton and they have finished taking the stuff to the car but GP is grumpy.Bekah and Peyton have been arguing already and GP has no patience for that.After a few threats and apologies to GP we are on our way to the busstop! We only have to wait a few minutes for a bus.The bus driver loads GP and his ECV and then everyone else gets on.GP hates using the bus but we use it to get to Magic Kingdom because it is faster.

We make the loong walk from the buses(POP is always the last busstop farthest from entrance) and bag check line is short.We scan our tickets and we are in!!

We walk through the gates about two minutes after 9:00am.

We stopped for a few pictures in front of the castle and then headed toward Fantasyland through Liberty Square because the entrance through the castle was roped off for the show that is done in front of the castle.(wow that is a loong sentence)

Will Fantasyland be packed??Would Dumbo’s line be too long to wait in??

i just read your pretrip and trip reports and can't wiat to read adn see more...my grands will love the pix of the castle and main street...i send them pix in emails to keep the excitment going! i read that you and your mom work togetehr...too cool! my dd who we are going to disney with also works with me at the daycare where we work. me in pre-k days and afterschool kids then summers with the one's getting ready for pre-k....my daughter works in the toddler { 2 year olds] room and my grandson blaze is in the 3 year old room and his sister went through all the rooms too since they both started there at 6 weeks.she is in k-g this year . i will be checking in daily for a report ..love'em.....princess hugs and pitare arrgghhss! i started a pretrip report a few weeks ago but now can't find it ...heehee...doh!

I have been waiting for an update! I love the pic with you guys in front of the castle. What was the check in hold up the night before? I must have missed it.

Sounds like you are off to a good start. Don't you hate when the kids won't eat first? Then they meltdown about 45 minutes later due to hunger when they could have ate and been fine. Motherhood, it's not for the weak!

HI! The check in the night before was just for a room only but it was supposed to be linked to the package so we wouldn't have to move. But we HAD to have connecting rooms so it didn't work out.
Peyton and Rae barely ate the whole trip. Except for cheetos and candy when I would let them have it.They never eat well when they are out of their routine.

That is one of my favorites.She was fun to watch this year-I probably took twice as many pics of her compared to the other two.I am sure they will notice.

Well after our gross encounter we drove about another hour and stopped for dinner.

Making me thing of... "Gross encounters of the yuck kind!" Yeah, I'm funny, I know....

We still arrived at Pop Century a few minutes after 11:00pm.A little over eight hours from our second departure!

I never stop loving seeing this site!!!

The kids fell right to sleep but I couldn’t.We were in DISNEY!

It's always great when they fall right to sleep!

This always makes me laugh because I swear POR was the furthest away all the time!!
