Our semi-charmed kinda life at WDW

we had a ball!!!

MVMCP on 12/13 was a huge hit - no lines for any rides and Alladin asked DD4 to ride his ride with her. I was stunned at the magic. the parade was awesome, cocoa yummy, and the dance hop was hysterical and fun.

during the week we waited for nothing. the only fastpass we needed was for soarin. we rode it 4 times total and loved it. we got on BTRR at 9 am on thursday and were allowed to stay on for 3 trips w/o getting off.

DD4 was a total thrill seeker and got lots of attention for being a little girl going on TOT. she went on 3x she loved it so much

here's some perspective. ... on Thursday 12/15 we walked onto space mtn at 1pm. yes walked on!! on Saturday 12/17 there was a 70 min wait at 1pm - that's how dramatic the change in the crowds was.

DDP was a ton of food - we were traveling w/friends who weren't on it and were able to share all CS with them and still be honest about using kids credits. our fave CS was at the land and TS was a tie between Jiko and California grill.

we found the character dining a little disappointing. 2.5 yrs ago we got multiple visits from characters during a meal. this time we got one a meal. we did chef mickey's and CRT for lunch. we'd probably still do CRT but all the other characters are so easy to find we'd likely skip any other. i think part of it was my expectations were based on experiences from 2 yrs ago.

So glad to hear you guys had a good time. I think Disney poured on a little extra magic that week, b/c we had a fantastic time as well. And I agree with you about the lines.

By the way, did you guys get a chance to do the DiveQuest? We were at the Living Seas Monday the 12th and saw some divers. I thought of you guys and gave a little extra wave to them, just in case.

hey - I was going to pm you about your trip. We did Divequest on Wednesday. I had a ball hamming it up w/DD. The only glitch was there was no video at the end. fortunately we had landlubbers taking video of our dive and our kids reactions.

oh and I LOVE the VWL!!! I'm never staying anywhere else!
