after seeing the other pics have decided i want to live where they have live oaks/moss, that mansion in has an impressive front yard! not sure if i'd want to cut the grass; wonder if a gardener comes with it?

Donald is in Camp Mickey Minnie @ AK. We thought he was so cute!!! They have Minnie taking the triplets camping, and then Mickey, Goofy, & Pluto on one side of the river, Donald on the other...

Hi Everyone...I can't believe I got on last night to DIS (first time in a while) and the Disboards were down until 3:00 in the morning. At least that what the message said,I didn't stay up to see for myself.

Although it seems to be working a little faster today...so hopefully that was one of the problems they fixed.

Nice day here in the northeast. I hope it stays this way.

So, T, do you do all the character meals with your kids when you are there with them?? I would have to say that they sure were all child-friendly, at least the ones we went to, ie Ohana, CP, WCC, Garden Grill, 1900 Park Faire, Donalds Safari, and Chef Mickeys...

I like to do as many as we can so that way I don't have to stand in line to see a character... They come to me... The Donald Safari you went to was that at the New Tusker house? I want to try that...

Well the meds seem to be settling in now, I am feeling a bit better and the wonky feels are slowly going away.

My hand though is still killing me. We are heading up the street to spend New Year's with friends and she has decided that we will be doing finger food. Do you know how much trouble that causes someone trying to loose weight? SO I am searching for some that are not to high in calories so I don't feel left-out and without them being "tasteless" So far I have come up with stuffed mushrooms, crab dip (so long as I don't go over board on it) and ???

Hard to surf for more buti am trying to push thru the pain! Every now & then I stop and hit the "refresh" button here to keep on track with my peeps

Change to: servings US Metric
1 (10 ounce) package chopped broccoli
8 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces French onion dip
4 ounces chopped deli ham
1 7/8 ounces dry vegetable soup mix
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1 tablespoon onion flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Broccoli Dip appetizer
Dinner Party Dip appetizer
Thaw broccoli, rinse with water, then put in microwavable dish and microwave for 2 minutes. Drain again.
Add cream cheese and mix well.
Then add the remaining ingredients and stir until well blended. Bake for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Top with cheddar cheese and continue baking until the cheese is melted, about 5-10 minutes. Serve with crackers.
This can also be combined in a crockpot and cooked on high for a few hours.


You can use all low fat stuff in the regular place.. Another idea for ya

They had all the usual breakfast stuff, huge buffet, with donuts, rolls, eggs, waffles, bacon, etc. Then they also had their african inspired dishes, Beef Bobito, a terrific sweet potato casserole, etc. Seriously there were like 4 buffet lines in there, SO much food, and the characters came around like 3 times each while we were there, plus they did parades through the restaurant twice and handed out instruments, etc.
