i know it's awhile away but...

i'm secretly planning a 10 stay at the world in November 2007. looking at towards the end of the month... :rolleyes1

ANYBODY WANNA COME!?!?! :yay:
Oh, if only! DH CM Prince Charming declares that we will not be able to entice him into another Disney vacation for at least 5 years or more. I guess we'll have to see what he says after this upcoming trip to WDW.

Here's how pre-obsessive I am about needing to be packed and ready on time.

DANG Woman !!! You IS organized!!! (I did read correctly, that you are an English professor?? I'm always out to impress!! :) )

But, seriously, you WILL be very happy when all you have to do is dump all the cool new stuff into those nice tidy bags and go! I AM jealous! (And trying to get organized myself!) (ofcourse, I spent half of my "organizing day" [today] on the boards....my plans not working too well!!!)

I'm trying to buy my younger son a Gameboy SP on Ebay as we speak....he seemed too young for so long - but now loves ihis older brothers. Figure it will keep their paws busy just long enough on the plane. Hope I can find a good deal. (Ebay and Disboards....this is why I'm sitting at the computer instead of organizing my bookshelf as I'd planned for this day - guess I'd better get used to it since I've found the DIS board!!)
Been looking for a new(used) Disney game for the Gameboy Advance so my daughter will have another thing to keep her busy on the 5 hour flight. My son *thinks* he's going to be occupied for 5 hours with his iPod, but I beg to differ. So, today, he saw a suduku book he liked and I bought it for him. I am also encouraging him to bring a book. For DD, I already have a Crayola art pak, a Kim Possible book, an MP3 player, and the Gamboy, of course. I also have two packs of mini playing cards and the electronic 20 questions game from Target. For myself, I am bringing a novel. This is not to mention that DH and I will both have our laptops and we have seats on both flights with the power outlets. :lmao: I hope we are covered in terms of eliminating 10 hours of boredom! :sunny:

Well, I'm not as organized as I might seem. I just know myself. I started setting things aside in April because I know how disorganized a last minute effort would be on my part! (yeah, I'm an English prof, and no, I don't correct anyone's - except my students' - grammar

)

Here's how pre-obsessive I am about needing to be packed and ready on time. There are 29 days until our trip and my entire upstairs landing has already been devoted to stuff that must go with us to WDW (picture's a little blurry, sorry):

Every time I buy something we're bringing or think of something new that needs to be packed, I put it with the rest of the stuff. I think this is a good plan and so far it has minimized my stress. I'll only have four days after the summer semester ends to get organized, so I figure if I get started early, I will be able to enjoy my vacation instead of being

before I even get there. Oh, and no, I'm not taking those two stacks of towels on the counter. lol

That looks like a cingular commercial.....

My DH just got home.
He went to HD to get an air conditioner for his mom.
He just handed me 27 LGMHPC's!!!!
He told me he still doesn't 'get it', but that he has now done his part.
I'm so proud....almost as proud as when my DD's wanted to get us all lime green shorts, t'shirts, socks and sneakers.... (they actually found all of this in Sears)
Nice hubby!!!

P.S. I bought some lime-ish green shorts today for my trip!

I need more!

I'm known around here as "Mother Darling, Queen of the Universe"!!! I do let them abbreviate to Q.O.T.U.!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
So funny! People laugh (my friends, strangers in the store, whoever) when my daughter has bugged me too much with "Mom mom mom mom" and I say "Don't call me Mom" She'll say "Ok: Your *highness*!" Heh. Got that kid trained, I tell ya!

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH NO! YOU GOTZ IT BAD! :scared1:

My DS just graduated, he's a ::cop: I prefer liberate, sounds more genteel.

I am humbled by Cynderella's organization skills, even storage crates & matching luggage.:faint:

Yonz guys aren't picking on the Villas are 'ya? Did you know you can rent a Villa on weekdays for less than the Values cost? WDW has raised rack rate almost 10%/year since 2003...disturbing IMO, especially since the AP rates are few & far between.

Plus everything you mentioned, DVD, music, gameboys.
Oh pipe cleaners! They will actually keep kids busy for awhile.

OMG I would kill to stay at the Boardwalk Villas - suddenly, it looks like I'm jealous of everything Cyn does.... Do you guys think I should dye my hair green???

But, guess I better not kill anyone - they usually shoot bears that kill people!

LOL! Now, DISUNC, you know we wouldn't be staying in a villa without DH CM Prince Charming's CM discount. We are able to go for the "big space" room because of that. We seriously considered POP at first, but then realized that it wouldn't be a successful vacation if we all killed each other before we ever got home (because ain't NO WAY the four of us can share two double beds for a whole week). If you want to hear the story sometime about how my DH sleeps *diagonally* in a king size bed and I have to kick him over to the other side EVERY night, I have no problem telling it. :lmao:

Don't be makin' like I'm :snooty: about my room...only about my coffee. :teeth:

I :joker: WITH ONLY
IT's when I don't Jest, One must BEWARE!
It has sumthin to do with being Irish/Catholic from NYC & DISfunctional!!! :thumbsup2

Or as the rest of the DisUnc family calls ""Smart "alec" Syndrome"!
