If so, this thread has enough bribe material to get every one of us several tags!!! C'mon, Tag Fairy! I will make a special trip to HD just for you!! :lmao:

I didn't know you could go to the front of the line with this hotel!! Was the character breakfast a buffet? We do have res. already and I also booked a character breakfast. My son wants to do the nick at night and i am still waiting till they start taking resv. It seemed pretty cool. A place to let the kids wear themselves out!!!
Thanks for all the info!! Teresa

I just read this again, hope I didn't mislead you. I didn't mean that you could line jump with the NICKhotel, I meant the Universal Royal Pacific Hotel..Sorry if I confused with my abbreviation(URPH)...

We're planning on wine for our Wilderness Lodge balcony!!! (If I can figure out how to get it there...) (SO, SO exciited - "on property" virgins!!! ... oh , can I say that on this board?!!! Eeek! I'll change that to "on property" Virginians - since I'm the Va Bear!

I'm not sure what you mean by "if I can figure out how to get it there... ). If you mean because you can't transport it over state lines... you can buy wine there. I don't know about Wilderness Lodge specifically, but I do know Animal Kingdom lodge sells wine in the gift store. It's african wine, appropriately, but I remember when we stayed at the Coronado Springs a couple of years ago, they also sold alcohol (I believe wine).. so you can buy it on WDW property. I'm sure other resorts do as well. I just never really notice anything like that since I'm there with just my DD so I can never drink.

If that's not what you meant, then don't read this post :)

As I understand it, though they do sell alcoholic bevs in most of the resort stores at WDW, it's quite expensive - which is why we plan to buy our margarita

fixins when we go to the grocery store the first day. I do know that unopened bottles of beer/wine/spirits may be brought onto a plane in carry-on luggage (I believe up to 5 liters) - check with your airline, though.

But do they have a secret green club?? :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Maybe they have a secret yellow club. Members have to swipe yellow sponges and put them on their hotel room doors and wear them on their hats and bags. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Have a good time!!!!

Something about humidity makes me want to drink beer. Planning on picking up some bevies also before we arrive on property. I plan on taking advantage of having been the designated driver for the last 2 years at any event we have gone to. Especially when we go to the hdr. Not that I'm a lush or anything. Probably will only take 1 drink for although the humidity may change that some.

I like *good* beer...the thick dark stuff, like ale. Thinking I am going to need to make a serious stop in Germany while at Epcot. :teeth: Darned kids, though...couldn't be a lush if I wanted to with them around. Heh!

cynderella, I too like those dark lagers. I was wondering about enjoying some bevvies at epcot also. I have known people who have done the drink around the world. Too much for a lightweight like me though. I was thinking of having a pint in England though and maybe a margarita in Mexico. Me loves the margaritas. Have seriously thought about packing a blender.

I'd love to just sit poolside and sip some nice tropical drinks.. umbrellas and all! But, I am the only one with my DD, so it's all virgins for me :(

Lushville is nice to visit sometimes

We will have a blender in our villa!! Hence, the fair certainty of margaritas for me! (Yet another reason we changed from BC...lol.) Caffeine and tequila, the great motivators!
