Okay my mom andI were bored, so I said "Hey let's go on a 'mission'!"
she said "like to get paint chips?" I said "Yeah" So we went into the dweebmobile(aka minivan) and drove to the HD. We were going over to the LGMHPC when I said "Isn't it awesome that no one else lives near us? We get all the LGMHPC!" Apparently I spoke to soon, because when we got over there there were no more paint chips!!! I almost started to . In my state of sadness, I picked up a stack of paintchips below the LGMH slot to kep up the ruse we were actually there for paint. But wait, what was that? It looks like ALIEN GREEN!!! Yes hidden in the other green paint chips were 3 LGMHPCs!!! It was not as large as our other swipes, but it was still a succsess.

Do to the overwhelming support of mother daughter TRs, pixie dust 112, will also be writting about the excursion in her own words, so that we both get warmed up for the upcoming TRs.

I am really looking forward to that. Our group's TRs have been awesome so far and yours will be really extra creative! Thank goodness I will have internet access while we're at OKW so I can read TRs while I'm relaxing in the villa. (so much for that novel I was gonna bring)

Is that where you already have ressies? If so, I wouldn't worry too much. I've heard negative reviews about just about every hotel on or off Disney property on these boards. You hear a lot of the bad opinions here and those with the normally good experiences don't post as much, it seems. You'll have a great time wherever you go!

Dont pay them NO mind!!!!!!! My rule of thumb is....If something is raked over the coals on the DisBoards....I will like it! If people RAVE about something...I will be disapponted in it!!!

GOODLUCK lizzyswan1022 you'll need it. Have any of my fellow DISr's ever been to the Nick Hotel or to the Universal Royal Pacific Hotel. I have heard so many conflicting stories i'm getting nervous about going. I know everyone's opinions are different and I just keep telling myself it can't be any crazier than your own house when my son's hockey team spends the night! Teresa

Me, me, me!!! We went to the NickHotel last September. The DS's had wanted to go, and we only live 5 hours away, so we decided to splurge...It is very expensive (by our standards-Value Resorts are our style... )..Anywhooo, we paid $180 w/AAA discount for a KidsSuite- two bedrooms, the kids room is decorated w/ Spongebob, Danny Phantom, Fairly Odd Parents, someone else can't remember. We got FOP, it was really nice..the boys loved it. There is a PlayStation and TV in their room, and the adult BR has a TV, too. There is also one in the LR. VERY small kitchenette-Micro, fridge, coffee pot w/ coffee. It was very busy-spent Fri and Sat night-Sat night was fully booked...Lots of Character sightings in the food court, the hotel exterior is decorated very well. The two water slide areas/pools were fantastic-we had a ball stayed soaking wet the whole weekend...There are poolside shows/contests/sliming/ and at night there are several shows featuring Nicklodeon games and at the end one lucky kid gets slimed. You have to sign up in the early am to get the show you want. We went in on standby on Friday and had no trouble getting a seat. They have pool movies, where you can float in the water while watching...lots to do...The pricey room to us was justified because we figured in admission for four for a water park, and then it wasn't so bad.

They have character breakfasts, a food court, a sit down restaurant, and the most GOD awful buffet (but the kids eat free-if they can keep it down...) I have ever eaten at. And I am VERY easy to please when someone besides me is doing the cooking. The buffet is my only complaint, and I would avoid it unless they assured me that it had improved.

I think we may try going down there again, very early on one morning, play all day, spend one night, play most of the next day, then go home. I don't think I would like to spend more than two days there.

If you are considering going, call the hotel directly and ask them to send you a copy of the current schedule of events going on, and a brochure. I did that, and it gave me a really good idea of what to expect.

If you have a family that loves the water and Nicklodeon, you will have a great time...

We haven't taken the boys to Universal yet, so we haven't tried URPH. I would stay there just to be able to go to the front of the lines, which is a huge bonus to me!!

OK fellow cult members... This is test run of the mother/daughter report. You get to see our latest swiping experience through my eyes and thorugh Lizzyswann1022's. I think she already posted. If there are differences remeber, my report is the accurate one!

So DD Lizzyswann1022 and I decide to go to HD for one last swipe before our big trip on Friday morning!!! We have over 50 , but you never know when you'll run short!!! Of course we need to bring one to TaraLee4 at the coffee shop Friday morning. As you all know Lizzyswann1022 thinks I must get my coffee from TaraLee so that Lizzy will have a pleasant plane ride!

Had to teach Lizzy the meaning of serpentine. So we went through the garden section and the cleaners, took a look at some paint stamping supplies, and then wound our way over to the paint section. Took a look at some other paint supplies and then went to the best darn section of HD!!! Yes the disney PCs!!!!

Went right to the alien green spot and ...... Horror of horrors .... it was EMPTY, immediately began wondering who was raiding our HD!!!! Can you imagine?????

Lizzy wanted to check underneath in the cabinets, but I thought there were just too many HD "associates" to take the risk ::cop: . I mean, I'm all for risk, but who wants to get busted a mere 5 days before the big trip?!?!? So I told her no. (I'm still the mom afterall!)

Well Lizzy was determined to find more LGMHPCs. SHE IS MY HERO!!!! She found some Lime Green "hidden mickeys" behind other color paint chips in the slot below the LGMHPC slot!!! Once again, I ask you, Can you imagine?!?!?

Lizzy found the last 3 LGMHPCs in our HD!!! Once again she has made her Mama proud!!!!

But I must demand to know ..... Who has been hiding the LDMHPCs????? You know who you are and you must reveal your identity!!! We will find out!!!!

We hightailed it out of there ( no serpentine on the exit)
Then took a quick trip to Walmart for self stick laminating sheets. We'll be crafty tonight. Someday soon, we may even pack for our trip.

So true!!! especially the dis coffee comment. I mix the coffee in my refillable mug with hot chocolate to make it tolerable.

Congrats on the new tag DISUNC!!! and great job with Lizzy's quiz. I was with my other DDs swimming and when I got home Lizzy was working on the quiz. I asked if she wanted help and she told me that wasn't allowed!! She is definitely a play by the rules kid until it comes to swipin' LGMHPCs
