We LOVED the WL. It was pretty quietr, but not as quiet as the Poly. I think the smaller buildings helps the Poly seem quieter, but there are no hot tubs there...FYI

The WL hot tubs were right down the stairs from our room, which was nice, although we never got to use them. It was nice having everything right there in one building. We had great weather, but had it rained or been really hot or cold, we could have gotten to the lobby, shop, etc w/o going outside.

There were 2 negatives to the WL, but I certainly wouldn't let either of these stop me from staying there again....
1. You hear the boat horn every 20 min. os so...It is supposed to start 1 hr. before MK opening and stop 1 hr after closing, but 1 night we heard it at 4am. If you're a super light sleeper, this could be an issue.
2. The food selection in RF the CA place is pretty slim, esp. for kids....the 2 kids choices on the Dining plan were PB&J uncrustables and Chicken nuggets. If you aren't doing dining plan, it would be fine...They have pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc...The issue was just the kids meals.

The kids LOVED the bunk beds and theming. I think that Brian and I would choose the Poly again, but the kids would do WL. Of course it's always the $$$ amount that makes the decision for us!

Did you all have any issues with Pop Warner when you were there? Fortrunately, we did good...saw few groups in the parks, but no disturbances at the resort, and nothing even CLOSE to what I read about on here when we got back:scared1:
We did the dining plan, but for a LOT of the counter service, we did adult meals for the kids cause of the lack of selection everywhere. Since all the CS meals go into one "bucket" it seemed to work out fine that way. We love the theming there too, and Catie loved the geyser. The boat thing might be aggravating, though... although as worn out as we were most days, I am not sure we would have heard it, also we are used to hearing trains at all hours at home...

No, we did see a few Pop Warner groups in the parks, especially on Saturday and Sunday, but no problems.

Me thinks the queen of the smilies is bored and poking thru her photobucket!

Not this Ducky -- all the gifts are done and all that needs to be finished up is the Christmas Choir Cantata that got snowed out last Sunday night. We are gonna sing for both services (wish me a "mental" boost of caffeine" 9 and 10:30

So me? still nursing this wrist that makes it hard to do ANYTHING

Have fun singing in the Cantata!

Hope the wrist gets better!

Did you get to do the weight thing today? or is that something that shouldn't be asked?

I'm glad that worked for you. Unfortunately, we were made to get kids meals for the kids...I had heard that some Cm's are more flexible than others, I guess we got the unflexible ones. I ate more kids meals than I care to again, because there were many places that the kids wanted something not on the kid's plan. Out last trip, we didn't have any issues with that, this one made us feel like the DDP was more of a pain than it was worth. It may have cost us more not to do DDP, but everyone would have been able to order what they wanted.

Hey Kitty KAT! check your Email!

OH and for everyone else this stupid thing is called a "bible bump" since folks used to use those big huge family bibles and WHACK the heck outta them to make the fluid go away --- not an idea that excites me.

The weight ... notice my ticker? Another pound gone down a total of 17 now. The next pound means i will have lost 18 in total meaning 10% of my body weight! Pretty impressive if you ask me

Kristi, did you get any pics of the Geyser? Mine didn't come out...it's dark, but I'd love one for our album if you have one.
