Us too! Been going through all the clothes, changing from summer to winter & giving stuff away. Putting stuff in the yardsale pile too. Primed & painted the LR yesterday & today--well dh did today. I am sooooo sleepy.

Think how great your living room is going to look!!! I'm jealous!! What color are you painting - and the carpet??

We so need to paint. It is actually on our agenda in the next month. We've lived in our house for 10years and have never painted the front room once. We did do the bedrooms. Part of the problem is I can't decide on colors. I'm decorating challenged. I have very few pics on the wall and very little in the way of nick knacks except my bear stuff. Of Va bear by the way I have a bear theme in our little house.

It all started when my dh bid on this beautiful carved bear. It is not the usual chain saw type that has become so common. He is about 3 feet high and smooth as silk. We won the bid for about $100 cause my dh stood by the bidding until it closed. We have named him Joe. He sits right by the table . He even has a cool knot for a belly button. Man am I a chatty Cathy tonight.

I'm glad someone else is decorating challenged too!!! We dont have picutres up and everyone thinks its so weird.

BUT bears ARE a great starting point.....hmmmm, maybe need to get some pictures of my cousins up!

Love those service academy games. We usually try to get to at least one air force game each year. Soccer seems to get in the way most saturdays and then when soccer is over it is so darn cold for the kiddos. That is wonderful news about your nephew. It is such an honor to go to an academy. I am really hoping that one of mine has the grades to apply. Cody says he wants to go to airforce and play hockey. You just never know.

Hopefully by the time Cody is old enough for college, the world will be more at peace. That's the only thing that scares me with my nephew.

We have one home game left to go to and that is ARMY against Air Force on Nov. 3rd. I can't wait. When the Academy's play each other, there is always a lot more fanfair than usual. Usually fly overs of huge carriers or helecopters. Before every ARMY game there are four soldiers who parachute into the studium. (I know there is another name for them, but again mermaids have short memories) It's awesome.

Hey Everyone, Just got home... It was pretty crazy today on my truck.. Lots of rain today, heavy fog, and more rain. I'm trying to catch up on the last 2 days of posts. I'm just sitting here reading, and eating beans and rice that Kim made for dinner.

Ok...Just a small problem I noticed today...When I went to home depot for my mickey head paint chips...I got the color sonic boom and I dint notice until after I laminated them and cut all 100 of them out..Should I throw away and go get the right color?!
