HEY! Does 20200 count for anything? Looks kinda kewl even if not.

Hum my tummy is growling if'n anyone is scared by that big noise that is rattling your windows. We chose to be heathens today so figured we better stay home passed the time we would normally head out the door for church. That is John's logic anyway. :rotfl2:

Just got back from trying to donate blood, and a side trip to Walmart. They wouldn't take my blood this morning because my iron count was too low. I guess it's still low from 2 weeks ago when they took blood. Went ahead though and made a new appointment for a couple weeks from now.

Hey MrOakie, Sorry you weren't able to give blood. Last night my dh couldn't either. We had gone to the Chinchuba haunted house and they had the blood mobile there. Anyone who gave blood got in free. But because he gave blood just over a month ago he can't give again till Nov. They usually take just his red blood cells so they can take double and he then has to wait double the time.

They normally just take platelettes from me. They schedule me every 2 weeks for platelettes, but last time they took red blood cells too, and it dropped my iron count too low.

I wish I could give blood also but I have to take meds that prevent me from donating. So my dh usually gives for the both of us :rotfl:

Some of the guys I work with give me a hard time because I donate blood, but I always tell them that some day you'll need it and if people like us don't donate, they'd be up the creek. :rotfl:

You're not gonna believe this I'm watching the CBS Sunday Mornning news show and they are showing a church in Wyandotte as an example in an environmental segment!.. I said hey that's where Teresa lives! Also talked to some other lady about wind power and stuff. So I get on here and you were the last post!

That was so cool which church was it? We have a beautiful one on the corner of oak and biddle. I believe its the first united methodist. And yes our city is trying to be the first to use solar powered windmills to try and conserve energy. We have our own electricity and cable and water. Its actually really cool plus helps to keep down the bills. Now all we need is our own gas! LOL
