Speaking of warped and twisted, does anyone else on here watch "Dead Like Me"? It's quite amusing, and pretty twisted. They're showing it Tuesday nights from 7-9 on Sci-Fi.

yeah.....went to the dr. today and she told me i was getting a little 'chunky' i think she was being nice. i need to stop eating all that crap that steve likes.

so oatmeal, and up early to go to the gym....she told me i need to lose 20-25 pounds...

Heck look what we are doing to Oakland whom just swept their last series. No us Tigers know what its like to play in the snow! Do your mets? THats right you guys are out in shorts today with your window open. I just turned on my heat and am off to go dig out my winter coat its starting to stick. Yuck!!

Also, I have a student who still can't write his name after a month in kinder (and his name is only 4 letters long). I get his homework, and his name is written pretty well (part of homework is practice writing your name 3 X a night until you master it). I asked him who did his name-writing homework. You guessed it. Mommy. That's really going to help the kid learn how to write his name.
O.K. that's my vent on parents. I admit, I used to do DS's word search homework every Wed. night when he was in 5th grade. What can I say? He's an automatic speller, and I like word searches. I just wonder if the teacher ever caught on

Its ok. Krista (7) did K twice and they were going to put her in 1st with no knowledge of her letters. She can write her name, but couldn't recoginize what an "a" was. go figure! She is in 1st now, got special ed for language arts but we had to go through ADD testing first. Same test scores that wont get her helped, did cause she has ADD?

Sad to say but its been a very very long time since Tigers have been to the World Series. See miracles do happen!!
