:lmao: :rotfl2: But Atlantic City is close to stay and play for an hour or two and come home, so if I wanted to see waitresses in little outfits bringing me free drinks, I could. Not that I go for that reason, and DH would argue its for the 'atmosphere'
Yup atmosphere :teeth:

I will never sit through one of those. Biggest waste of you're vacation time (time=money).

Also gotta say I hate buffets. Used to do buffets when they were cheap; they're not cheap anymore. Will occationaly do a breakfast one. I just don't eat enough food to make it worth my while.
When I go there are to places I'll eat at. Any of the In-n-out burger places, or Ellis Island ($4.99 steak dinner -it's not bad).

Definately got to do in and out. About the only thing about living in so cali that I miss (ok disneyland and the beach but that's it). The buffets are definately not cheap like they used to be. We went to one at the aladdin. It was wonderful though. Best buffet I have ever had in vegas. Lots of worldly cuisine. Eating at Boma at wdw kind of reminded me of this buffet although the quality was better at Boma.

When we did the same day ticket booth we had kind of picked about a 1/2 dozen shows we would have liked to have seen. He got in line around 10am while I was at a conference. He was one of the first in line. He had quite a bit to choose from lots of which was on our list. We went to Tony and Tina's Wedding. It was great and the food was terrific. Sad to say that was probably our last grown up date (almost a year ago).

Lastly the shopping in Vegas is now phenomenal also. Another great reason to visit for the non gambler.

Wow just looked at my watch it is really late. Even for me. Sudafed really messes me up with my sleeping. Well off to watch a little more Tv and snooze a bit more.

I haven't. I've read some of the Dan Gutman sports books. Million Dollar Goal is the hockey one (which I haven't read) but his baseball and basketball ones were good, so maybe the hockey one is too. They're funny and exciting.
I haven't heard of screech owls, but there's just so much around it's hard to follow it all.

WinniethePooh93 loved those books!

This might sound Crazy but since they opened the Ross store on the strip that is one of my stops every trip. It's just that they carry much better stuff than what we have around here. I don't buy tons of stuff, but I'll get a pair of nice shorts, a shirt or two. Heck I've bought dress shoes there (on vacation  ); they were just to good a deal to pass up.

Vegas Baby. You should be able to get good airfare. Its too early yet for the deals. Come on you got me rt to dl for 120 each. THats unheard of. Save dw for in august. Ok my fellow lime green friends. I need an opinion on something. Dh and I are celebrating our second anniversary this May, and since the first one still harbored many bad memories and hard feelings from our wedding day it came and went without as much as a Happy Anniversary.

Well this year, since there have been many personal things we have been dealing with, we decided to try and go somewhere for our anniversary. Just us no children. I need help deciding where to go.

Funds are limited. I can go to FL and stay in our timeshare for 4 nights, got really cheap airfare, about 180 round trip for both of us. Buy 'maybe' a few days of passes to WDW. Problem is that when in WDW I would really like to stay onsite, but I have to give it up because the timeshare is free to stay in, and then my budget would go out the door. We will also be going to WDW in August.

Or, we could go to Las Vegas for 5 nights using the timeshare right on the strip. We have never been there before. However, airfare is more than double (as of right now, I will keep shopping).

Dh said he would rather go to Vegas, but FL would be OK too. Thanks for the help pal.

Where would you rather go? and possibly why? Also open to other suggestions :thumbsup2 Thanks all!

I am waiting on your plans to do my vacation in August. I am currently holding 18-25th, but the week after is also OK.

I am searching for that inexpensive airfare :badpc: but I haven't been able to find it. Can you tell I am impatient. :rotfl2:

Funny story about the Pina Colada's. We went to the mall yesterday to get Laci her costume and he says pull into 7-11 I really need something to drink, so the whole car goves him their order, and he comes back with a slurpee, and really big one. So we are in the mall parking lot, and he says I am trying to finish it, and I said well let me help you, what flavor is it. He told me it was pina colada, and I opened my door and fell out of the car laughing. :rotfl2:

Maybe Rer and I could be vegas promoters. :goodvibes

Well, :thanks: both of you. I was reading all the back and forths, and jotted everything down in my 'handy dandy notebook.' I have one for vacations and little deals and codes and all input people give about certain places. So I have the coke bottle in there, thanks! :thumbsup2
