Halo is a video game on the XBox system. It's kind of a futuristic commando 1st person shoot'em up game; you can play with and against several people on-line. Well, some guys got together, and made a show out of this game. The only thing is they made it a comedy. There is a red team (with red armor), and a blue team (with blue armor). They move the teams characters around the screen, and do voice-overs for them. Each side has a leader, the wise guy, and an idiot. There is also a talking talk, and a spanish speaking head. Uh, I guess it's a little strange and funny.
DS loves playing Halo, it kills me that I bought him the game too. He got it for Christmas and 2 days later he beat the stupid thing. He plays it online too, but not so much anymore. I made him one day play it over the TV instead of the headset, and once I heard what was going on, I quickly put a time and limit on how he plays it.

Now the Sims on X-box, that I play, love it on there.

Do you ever visit the budget board and their freebies thread. I love that thread. I got a free Senseo coffe maker from there. I can't wait to take that bad boy out on the boat this summer! Do you know what a pain it is to come back to the inlet just for a cup of java! Especially since DH can't find his way out of a wet paper bag. But that thread is great, I got so many neat things. You should check it out they have a new thread every week!

You are like me! you get on the board and then BOOM BOOM BOOM posts all in a row :rotfl2:
None of those freebies are availabe to me. Don't forget I am Cnd. Most deals even contests I can't get. EVEN most Disney ones

That is why I mentioned it to you! They do have a lot for Canadian residents! I usually just subscribe to the thread, and I check them out in my email inbox, and look at what is interesting and trash the rest.

Did you download the DING for Southwest. They have some great deals pop up on there daily for airfare!

Yup of course! I check their site at least 4 times as well. Since the deal I got down was better during a "special" sale than any of the dings they have had for my city
I got the rate of $54 to go down -- it is now listed as $145.
Coming back it is $145!!
Mom wants less than 600 RETURN for 4 of us. Grr what the heck does she think I am? :wizard:

My son is in charge often of LAN parties. They all load up their 'puters, head to someone's house and Ben connects them all together They order pizza or what not and play ALL WEEKEND.

Friends ours, their son works at the local cineplex.... yup you guessed it. They take a few sytems and run it thru the camera set-up can you imagine playing a game on a six story screen?? :teeth:

Not for nothing, but those are good prices. The only other thing you could do is take the 54 fight down, and check a different airline for a sale on the way back. You would be flying 2 different airlines, but I guess if its cheaper it might be worth it. Most airlines run the sale on round trip flights only though :confused3 Good luck on your flight arrangements, sounds like you might have to hit up Rer's thread and ask a very obscure question, maybe the wizard of the lime green world could help you. :rotfl:

You could buy her a pair of fairy wings for her to fly herself home-- that might bring the total to under $600! ;)

I know that sounds like a great idea BUT the way i did it I managed to get a credit of $140 that i can't use if I switch to another airline. BUT I agree with you $184 each, round trip is WONDERFUL!

SIL & BIL live there (about a 3 hour drive for us) You trying to tell me that you ain't got ANY of those items??? :faint:

Sorta makes up for the fact that since we live so close to the border (about 2 hours) a lot of our shows come from the States. SO a lot of the stuff we see on commercials we can get. I love crossing the border and just hitting one of your grocery stores :lmao:
Pst .. how many cavities do you have from eating that stuff that you haffa SMACK on the ground before eating it :confused3
I've lost count. :rolleyes1
