I love this group......Yes hugs are needed....I think we are all just exhausted from school satrting and taking turns at the hospital with mom. I think she might be able to come home by the weekend though. Thanks to all who are sending good thoughts. I know I haven't had time to respond to everyone.

Hey, now! Just because I live in CA doesn't mean I never see snow! In fact, I live just at the base of the highest mountain on So Cal, so we actually are closer to snow than the beach and we get snow here at my house about once or twice a year. Exhibit A: Here's my front yard in Nov 04:

Look at my poor palm tree! I have been skiing and snowboarding before, but am really not very good at either one. I'm pretty good with an innertube, though! To be honest, I'm no pro at surfing, either. That, and I'm gettin' old...don't have the flexibility and stamina I did 20+ years ago...

That would be really cool. I was gonna ask you if you/Meredith were gonna dress Stanley in Lime, but then I wondered if PD & LizzY would put him in lime at WDW.

We have big plans for Stanley in Disney! Don't want to tell until Cyn's little one gets a chance to see!

Well, Stanely isn't wearing lime as DD colored him, but he makes a great paper doll. lol Amusingly, though, when we went to get the little notebooks for his journals, they came in a five pack - five different colors and she had to decide which one would go where. One of them is lime green and she was adamant that Stanley take that one to WDW with PD and her girls!

Thanks! Spent all morning with Nana and then NSalz came in for the afternoon shift. Just went again and it seems like something good happened today because she seemed so much better tonight than she did this morning!

(I was JUST looking at a recipe for crab and corn chowder and they called for Crab Boil [capital letters - as in a Brand name...] - so here's a question - think they are interchangeable, recipe-wise??)

Why dont you all come - I'll make a LOt of chowder?!!

Oh please...I have 2 little ones...who needs MickeyD's? I have a freezer full of crap - whoops, I mean full of chicken nuggets, prefab pizzas, corny dogs, etc. - name their poison (literally! )

Man, I loved seafood as early as I can remember - yum!! Even made my dad proud 'cause I was the only one of his 3 duaghters who would eat RAW oysters as a kid (now we all do...)
