Anyone have big plans for the holiday weekend. We were supposed to have a major neighborhood clambake Saturday, but decided we had to cancel it because it is supposed to pour here! This is an annual event that grows and grows to include more people every year. We're all disappointed.

But hey that gives DDs more time to clean their rooms this weekend!!!

Same here .. was planning on having a big BBQ with a few of our neighbours .. somehow we ended up with a freezer full of ribs! Yummy but not much room for ice-cream BUT weather lady showed last night how that nasty ol hurricane is sending it's remmants straight up to us! Gonna start pouring tonight and carry right on thru till Monday evening. Hope it clears up for Tuesday so the Em can wear her new shoes that she helped pay for. They are leather EMILY THE STRANGE and since they came from the states she had to pay ... sittng down for this one? --- $39 duty! So a cute little pair of leather runners cost her almost $100!!!

Yes'um I did Mary ... boy oh boy What a sweetie. I particually love the one with the teddy under the blanking when he is smily-like Hugging my tedding makes me smile too. He is simply delicious looking! Emily had as much dark hair when she was born as he does. Makes them look like lil old monkeys! Hers never fell out just got curly and longer ..... Ben however had NO hair till he was 2 and he had huge birthmark on top of his head peeps kept thinking we had dropped him

Thanks! I like that picture, but to me its the least one that looks like "him" if you know what I mean. They captured an expression that he never seems to make. How funny at your kids being so different.

We were going to try and cram in a little more summer in the mountains but such has been our life 1 kiddo sick and the other on deck. I had hoped that Brody would get through the first week of preschool before getting the back to school crud but no such luck. He's watching Disney movies and has a fever and vomited tons this morning. Thinking he'll probably be better by Sat night or Sunday but Cody is sniffling away right now. I think I started my airborne too late.(yesterday). Bummer at least it is a long weekend so it shouldn't screw up my vacation time (hopefully).

Well everyone I'm going to Monterrey, Mexico for the weekend. We actually leave on the bus in 3 hours. My ice hockey team is going down to play in a tournament. Who'da thunk it. Ice hockey in Mexico. I don't think I'll be able to get online till we get back on Sunday.

Too Cool about the hockey tourney. Is this an adult tourney or kiddos? I'd love more details. We could use an excuse like this next year for a vaca since both DH and both kiddos play. My boys are chomping at the bit to get started back to hockey. Just got through with tryouts but practice won't start for a week or so(I think).

I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!! OMG! DO you know how hard it is to be away from the boards for 2 weeks while going through heck?!?!?!?! The number of kids in the band who own LG is shocking I considered asking them all if they were DISer's but instead elected to help the Juniors and Seniors force the Freshmen to run laps (it was also amazing the number who didn't realize we were joking). Well I'm gonna go find pics of DOBEY!
