Huh, I'm eat'in PB&J.

I ate leftover hummus on a tortilla, some leftover vegetarian baked beans, and a few shriveled carrots. I really need to shop, and we're trying to eat up what Mr. Vegan left when he went off to college. Pitifuil, isn't it?
P.S. no payday for me or DH since June 30. Next one, Sept. 30. That's a long dry spell.

I guess I missed you all, but what a day. It started too early, when DH got up at 4:30 and left his alarm set for 5:00. I coiuldn't see how to shut it off, so I ended up getting up. I messed up a project at work because I didn't know what I was doing. DH dragged me to the gym even though I was pooped. Came home, ate my hummus tortilla, was going to relax with some peppermint ice cream, when DD calls to say she was side-swiped by some fool in a big truck. We just got the car out of the shop yesterday, including new tires and alignment. The car had been in the shop for two weeks because the dealership kept messing up (we'd pick up the car one night, drive it home, and the next day it was totally dead. This happened 3 X). Now we'll have to put it in the shop again (not the same place, though), and I think one of the new tires is chewed up. At least DD wasn't hurt, but come on now! Is there a curse on this car?

Dang must be a bad month for cars. First I dent the side of my van at the parking garage because some guy told me I would make it. WRONG! Then Mary's dh was in an accident and lots of car trouble before it. And then finally Your daughter. Hopefully this will end all the bad luck with cars. Oh I forgot rer1972 (or something like that) had tire trouble as well. to all drivers out there.

Ok now about the meet. We should get a psychic (sp?) to attend our party. Have a reading. Va-Bear is there one in your area? That would be so cool. After reading the ghost thread I am so syked about it now. I am so glad halloween is near. We went to SAlem Mass. a couple of years ago and it was halloween time. It was so cool. Loved to hear all the stories. Definately want to go back someday without kids. LOL

Now another thing about the meet. Everyone take a look at the link and make sure I have you listed. I also need everyone's name first and last pmed to me and if you don't mind your addresses. This way since I am not able to come till Saturday I will mail you your stuff to put on your hotel door that I am making.

I did find a flight for $200 rt that I may book. I would love to bring at least Emily with me. Nick and Anthony can stay with my mom while my dh is at work. Emily is too much of a handful for my mom. I am still holding out for a better deal. By the time I pay for gas and millage on my leased van it just may be cheaper to fly. One way or another I will be there. Just may have to mail someone money to buy my share of the food and adult laundry supplies. LOL If you haven't noticed It is around 4am and I am still awake. Why I have this insominia (sp?) is beyond me.

Ok has anyone decided what shirt we are gonna make or buy? We all have to have to same shirts for our meet. It wouldn't be official without it.

Since I am a northerner I have no idea what a seafood boil is or the seasoning you guys are talking about is so just make sure you guys have coctail sauce for me. The hotter the better. LOL

SOmeone on another thread just complimented my avitar and asked if I'm going to be dressed like that for MNSSHP! I hadn't even thought of that. I think I'm going to look for a green wig today! I should be able to attract some DISers that way!
