Good luck with that. Go through his insurance. Try not to contact your insurance if you can because they will count that against you I believe even if they don't pay anything out. I'm surprised the officer didn't get the info either. Good luck!!!

Ain't that the truth! I know all about that. Even if I did have to go through mine it wouldn't be worth it. I think the damage will be just about the same as my deductible so there's no sense filing a claim on my end.

Yeah, but with the Airborne, you can still stand up after taking it. And walk, drive and talk. For some of us, a few shots of scotch would cancel all of that out real quick!! For me, I'd be if I was taking shots! Functioning is good!

Sometimes if you can't get the other company to pay out, your insurance will do the work for you trying to get them to pay & as a last resort they will repair the damage, but even just contacting them counts against. You have so many claims (not sure this is the right word), before they raise you or drop you.

Yeah..already have one not-at-fault accident that cost my insurance company thousands because the other guy had NO insurance. And, um, <ahem>, a little reckless driving citation from last spring that I'll admit was just completely stupid and out-of-character on my part (didn't involve anyone else and I think my bumper stickers might have pissed the cop off more... he he)

Won't be filing anything w/my insurance as the damage will be about the same as the deductible so what's the point?

I've never really paid much detail to the lyrics but when he sings "bears", images of bears (a la those skits on SNL) come to mind!
