Making a long story short, cuz I'm tired and want to go to bed, some guy cut me off from another lane and clipped the front of my car. Then he got out and started banging on my window (I thought it was going to break - I was on the phone to 911 at that point).

Then he gets back in his car and TAKES OFF!

I follow him and he pulls into a parking lot and makes some threatening moves with his car.

Finally, the cops show up and take both sides. The cop tells me all he can do is give me the guy's addresses (one he gave and one on his license) and doesn't have any insurance information because this wasn't an "accident". I have to go downtown tomorrow to file a criminal complaint against this !#@#%$. And the @#$%@#$ has my address now, too! What kind of @#$% is that?

I did go back with my camera and got some pics of my skidmarks and some video and some pics of his fist prints on my window and video of that and even bought some tape and lifted some "prints" (where's the CSI smiley? )

BTW, his story to the cop was that *I* hit him and *I* took off when he got out of his car. Man, wish I'd had my camera in the car. Could have had 100% solid evidence of it.

Now that TRULY sucks! I hate driving and most other drivers are jerks. I'm sorry to hear you're having to deal with this stuff. The part about him having your address really stinks! And weren't you that he lied and tried to make it look like your fault?? Wow. Hope everything turns out OK.

I'm sorry about that, Night Owl. Three years ago I had a guy back into my car and then start to take off. I followed him so he finally pulled into a parking space and I pulled in next to him. I guess it was kind of funny to onlookers, because the guy said I was "too close" (yeah, if you throw it into reverse and gun the engine on your van without looking behind you!) and swore at me so I swore back, but I'm 5' 5" and this guy was a 6' body-builder with a neck as big around as his head, and I was jumping up and down to point my finger in his face because he was pointing his finger in my face. Then I said I was going to call the police, and he called his grandfather (okay, the guy was a grown man with his kid's empty carseat in the back seat, and he calls grampa) and his grandfather told him to lie and tell the police I hit him. Nice grampa! So finally I said if he gave me $40 I'd forget about it (the guy did not have insurance) and he actually caved in and gave me the $40! I gave the money to a charity for runaway kids. It just ticked me off that this guy was blaming me when my car wasn't moving and he hit me! My DH says I'm lucky the guy didn't kill me, and I know you shouldn't get into it with strangers, but at least I won this time. I got hit twice more that month, and both people were kind and apologetic, and I told them not to worry about it. It was just that one guy that made me .

I'll have you know, just last week we had a bear over for Dinner. In order to make him feel at home we all ate out of the dumpster!
I was the first one in the neighborhood to welcome the bears in!
At Christmas I even have a ornament that says 'Have a Very Beary Christmas"...of course since all the neighbors aren't as liberal as me...I do place it towards the back of the tree!

My ds gave himself the nn Pumpkin & man is he sorry he ever did. This happened a couple of weeks ago. Dh was running to the store & called out to me (his pumpkin ), "I'm leaving Pumpkin, I'll be back in a couple of minutes". Well ds jumps in "Ok, see you later". Well he's been Pumpkin ever since-- even though he keeps trying to pass it onto Stinkerbelle.

This is a secret just between us.
My nephew James sings...ALL THE TIME!!!! He sings REAL LOUD & REAL OFF KEY.....ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time! He always has. He sings EVERYTHING but mostly Elvis & the Beatles & Bobby Darrin ( I have no idea why...so dont ask).
He was always known throughout the neighborhood & in School as 'The Singer"....In grammer school the principal always Knew when he used the facilities....cause she heard him down the hall!
Anyhow, when he got to Junior High ....as usual James was signing (and I am sure quite loud) on the Schoolbus. Some kid turned around and yelled "Hey Jukebox shutup!"......He was sooooooooooooo peeeeeeeved!

From that day on since he told me, and of course I told everybody...We call him Jukebox!

Poor Kay-Why....that REALLY REALLY sucks!!!! Man, sometimes things like this get so bad...but hopefully , he will cool off and maybe it wont be too bad. I hate that he has your address too....we actually ended up moving years ago because a PSyCHO assasulted my husband (and threatened my kids...) long story but he did end up with jail time originally (in the second trail they changed it to parole and 5 year restraining order...) I couldnt sleep (he was our "neighbor"), he slashed our tires atleast 3 times, sugared our gas tank (lost a 5,ooo truck), stalked us thru a Target on my birthday, etc. so we sold our "dreamhouse" and moved to the next county. (And, believe it or not, formed a fake corperation to buy our house under - since pruchase records are public record.) Oh.....morning ramble - sorry...... Guess you just reminded me of this awful thing - and I'm the one who said we should be LIGHT and CHEERFUL (sorry guys....just want KY to watch out....good job on the finger prints!)
