our secret green club? Part 3

This is a secret just between us.
My nephew James sings...ALL THE TIME!!!! He sings REAL LOUD & REAL OFF KEY.....ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time! He always has. He sings EVERYTHING but mostly Elvis & the Beatles & Bobby Darrin ( I have no idea why...so dont ask).
He was always known throughout the neighborhood & in School as 'The Singer"....In grammer school the principal always Knew when he used the facilities....cause she heard him down the hall!
Anyhow, when he got to Junior High ....as usual James was signing (and I am sure quite loud) on the Schoolbus. Some kid turned around and yelled "Hey Jukebox shutup!"......He was sooooooooooooo peeeeeeeved!

From that day on since he told me, and of course I told everybody...We call him Jukebox!

For christmas one year you should get him a minature jukebox (I have seen them in some of those novelty catalogs).

Making a long story short, cuz I'm tired and want to go to bed, some guy cut me off from another lane and clipped the front of my car. Then he got out and started banging on my window (I thought it was going to break - I was on the phone to 911 at that point).

Then he gets back in his car and TAKES OFF!

I follow him and he pulls into a parking lot and makes some threatening moves with his car.

Finally, the cops show up and take both sides. The cop tells me all he can do is give me the guy's addresses (one he gave and one on his license) and doesn't have any insurance information because this wasn't an "accident". I have to go downtown tomorrow to file a criminal complaint against this !#@#%$. And the @#$%@#$ has my address now, too! What kind of @#$% is that?

I did go back with my camera and got some pics of my skidmarks and some video and some pics of his fist prints on my window and video of that and even bought some tape and lifted some "prints" (where's the CSI smiley? )

BTW, his story to the cop was that *I* hit him and *I* took off when he got out of his car. Man, wish I'd had my camera in the car. Could have had 100% solid evidence of it.

That was awful!!!! It must have been scary. There are too many crazy people in this world...... I hope everything works out for you

I am so sorry about what you went thru. You did the right thing by going back and getting pictures and all. My dh is a ::cop: so I hear about this kind of thing happening alot. The evidence will help to prove you were in the right. Even the damage to the vehicle can prove it by the direction the paint is scratched/rubbed in. I hope everything turns out ok for you and that you don't end up with more trouble since the guy has your address.

Someone( a very bad mean someone) abandoned these poor babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO I rescued them!!! and now I have more.......

Aren't you supposed to say Jinx first? That's how my kids play. Of course when they play it the person jinxed can't talk until someone says their name 3 times. Oh yay, good times, like I'm gonna say their name & ruin the quiet--uh-uh!

OMG, how scary. Sorry that happened to you! Sadly he might get away with the "you hit him" story because most insurance companies automatically fault the person in the back during these type of thing. It makes it seem as you hit him instead of him hitting you. We learned this the hard way. The only thing that might help you is the 911 call, but even then they might side with him. GOOD LUCK!!!

Before my magical employment at Home Depot I work for a company that had an office in southern VA(emporia)so I had to talk to them alot.....I STILL say ya'll!!!!!! and I haven't worked there in 5 years!!!!!

I'm sorry about that, Night Owl. Three years ago I had a guy back into my car and then start to take off. I followed him so he finally pulled into a parking space and I pulled in next to him. I guess it was kind of funny to onlookers, because the guy said I was "too close" (yeah, if you throw it into reverse and gun the engine on your van without looking behind you!) and swore at me so I swore back, but I'm 5' 5" and this guy was a 6' body-builder with a neck as big around as his head, and I was jumping up and down to point my finger in his face because he was pointing his finger in my face. Then I said I was going to call the police, and he called his grandfather (okay, the guy was a grown man with his kid's empty carseat in the back seat, and he calls grampa) and his grandfather told him to lie and tell the police I hit him. Nice grampa! So finally I said if he gave me $40 I'd forget about it (the guy did not have insurance) and he actually caved in and gave me the $40! I gave the money to a charity for runaway kids. It just ticked me off that this guy was blaming me when my car wasn't moving and he hit me! My DH says I'm lucky the guy didn't kill me, and I know you shouldn't get into it with strangers, but at least I won this time. I got hit twice more that month, and both people were kind and apologetic, and I told them not to worry about it. It was just that one guy that made me .

Good for you Danielle, you is , but good for you! I guess he thought he could just intimidate you!

I have lived in Canada again for the last 8 1/2 years & I still say ya'll. I even had one of my empoyers tell me it was unprofessional because it was not in the dictionary. The next day I left the dictionary on her desk open to the word ya'll & said it was unprofessional of her to quote a book if she did not have accurate facts & therefore I would continue on with teh words or the place I love ya'll come back now ya hear me. LOL
