I have always loved the name Elizabeth. It is the name of my favorite literary character (Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice). I even named my dear sweet kitty after that character.

stinkerbellsmom - had a good time in OC, forgot to post about the fly infestation! Evidently, assetaque sp (pony island) sometime between 4th of July & 3rd week of July developed a "bad case" of west nile virus! The powers that be, on the q.t., imported flies for a natural extermination of said mosquitos. Unfortunately, the flies multiplied like, well - flies & soon ventured northward in search of better pickins (tourists). The afternoon we got there & ran to the beach, we couldn't initially figure out why so many people were buried in sand & had a rolled up newspaper in hand. Skin so soft, take me away...
we still had a good time, stuffed ourselves @ PGN on crabs, yum.

Hey, HMo2. Glad to hear the kids are hanging in there. You had a long time of it this summer. I'm glad you're able to get out and make up for some of it now!

My trip was great! I absolutely loved WDW. I've got a TR going. I bet you're getting excited to go! Is it hard not to tell the kids or are you past that now?



I SWEAR by it. I even made the family take some before boarding the plane. We haven't been sick for months. I've only ended up developing one cold out of many while taking airborne. It rocks.

Cyn, Thanks for the info on the airbornne. Just thought it was kind of expensive if it doesn't work but heck I'm game if I hear someone has used it. Off to get some soon. When and how long do you give it?

Kids still on surprise mode. They think that we'll be going to wdw someday in the future 2-5 years is the estimate. Just talked to Cody's teacher today and filled her in on the plan. She was excited for him which is one less worry since we are going during school.

You're telling me!!! I skipped the gym to sit home and veg....but I didnt expect to actually grow roots!

I did catch up on tons of other threads...including the "liberal" page...oh, lordy, George Allen is SUCH a great man to represent Virginia (if you could only see the sarcasm dripping around here!)

Read up on 'Soarin" and "Hopping" too (I kept debating about whether or not to add that option...never have before but decided to go hog wild this time!)
